I have dined at maman many times. This morning I ordered the omelette and the maman breakfast sandwich totaling $32. For this price point and the way it was described on the menu I would have expected the food to be a bit higher quality. The omelette was quite burned and the sandhwich was mediocre in terms of flavor and substance. Won’t be coming to this location again :(

I order from this place all the time because when they get it right, it's my favorite lunch to have at work. But I'm playing myself because they almost never get it right. Omelettes will be missing ingredients, salads won't have their dressings, entire sides I paid for won't be included in the delivery. I don't leave Google reviews often but this is consistently bad enough that I hope it gets their attention so they fix the issue!

A gem in the center of NYC. A taste of authentic French cousin. Nicely decorated cafe, helpful staff. We always visit this place, when we are around. They serve the food and drinks on beautiful porcelain - not many cafes in NYC do this.
The food is very tasteful however the service is below any poor expectations…

Ambiance and service were great, sandwiches pretty expensive assuming qty of main components (mine had not much of meat, although named as steak sandwich).
The morning hours are a bit busy. I tried pain au chocolate, cheddar scallion scone and lavender hot chocolate. The products are very delicious and the interior design of the place is incredibly enjoyable?

Cosy cafe with chill vibes. Was hungry but the quiche was too eggy to finish. Honey lavender latte was not bad but did not pair well with the quiche. Also the cafe works like a cafeteria style, you have to reserve your own seat or order before you find your seat.

I recently visited Maman for the first time after hearing good things from friends, but unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. While the cashier was friendly and the drinks came out quickly, my sandwich took over 30 minutes to arrive. What frustrated me the most was that customers who arrived after me were getting their orders much faster. I brought this issue to the staff’s attention, but no one offered any help, nor did they apologize for the delay.
On the positive side, the cookie I ordered was delicious, and the iced coffee was excellent as well. However, the chicken sandwich I waited so long for was a bit dry, which was disappointing given the wait. The poor service overshadowed the good food, and I ended up losing most of my break at work.
