I ordered an iced drink. The server didn’t pay attention to what I said and put down hot. When I pointed it out, she blamed it on me. Ridiculous. Never buying anything from this place ever again.
(Another staff member remade my drink in iced so thanks to her I still got what I wanted.)

Walked all the way here to find out they are closed for a private event, even though the website says open. Thank you Maman for the update!

This soup with grilled cheese tasted just like eating a slice of pizza—and I loved it!
The tomato base was rich and flavorful, almost like marinara, and paired with the perfectly grilled cheese, it gave full-on pizza vibes in the coziest way. Comfort food at its finest!

My wife and I recently visited Maman on Canal Street in NYC and I can honestly say it was one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted with such warmth and charm. The space itself feels like a little slice of Paris tucked away in the middle of the city, filled with thoughtful details and a relaxed, welcoming vibe.
We each ordered something different so we could sample a bit of the menu. My wife had the smashed avocado tartine and she couldn’t stop raving about how fresh and flavorful it was. The combination of tomatoes, cilantro, onion, and lemon on that perfectly toasted sourdough was spot on. I went for Papa’s Breakfast Bowl, and let me tell you, it was the kind of dish you find yourself thinking about long after the last bite. The roasted potatoes were crispy, the bacon was perfectly cooked, and the chipotle aioli brought everything together in the best possible way.
Before we left, we grabbed a few cookies from the bakery to take with us. We tried the Classic Chocolate Chip, the Nutty Chocolate Chip, and the Martha Stewart Kitchen Sink Cookie. I don’t say this lightly — these were hands down the best cookies we’ve ever had. Soft, rich, and packed with flavor.
If you’re anywhere near one of their locations, do yourself a favor and stop in. Whether you’re grabbing a coffee and a pastry or sitting down for a meal, you’re in for something special. We’re already planning our next visit.

The food was pretty good and had a variety of dishes to consider from their menu allowing those with dietary constrictions to choose from other menu items. We went for some pastry dishes and they were all delicious (highly recommend the pistachio croissants!)

Hosted a corporate event at the King location for 100+ guests. The space is beautifully curated with flowers and greenery, eliminating the need for additional décor.
The staff was incredibly accommodating, offering quick solutions to anything that came up. Working with Camille to coordinate the event was seamless. Highly recommend for private events.

I’ve enjoyed countless Espresso Martinis across the city — from swanky hotel bars to trendy restaurants — thinking I’d experienced the best. Turns out, I hadn’t… until I visited Maman on Hudson Street. This place serves what I now consider the gold standard of the Espresso Martini. Smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced — it’s everything a mature, luxurious cocktail should be.
And that chocolate chip cookie — absolutely divine! I intended to snap a photo, but my hand and mouth didn’t get the memo. I later learned it’s one of Oprah’s favorite cookies, and now I completely understand why.
If you're ever in the area, do yourself a favor and try both. You won’t regret it.
