weird vibe with standoffish employees who stand around and talk to eachother while customers are waiting in line. Employee named marjorie came upto me at my table and rudely tapped a sign that said no laptops while screaming that it says no laptops which is totally fair but could be nicer. This place is not worth the $8 latte and weird negative energy!!

Chai latter small size (~6 bucks) feel super bland. Total waste of money for that. Did not know there is student discount for NYU (non sign). The bakeries are decent. The decoration is pretty. Not come here for a good drink but vibe for sure 💔

I come here every weekday morning and occasionally late afternoons. Good coffee and great service and hospitable atmosphere. No other place like it.
This is my favorite of the Maman locations. They have the best Croque Maman here, really delicious. Service is great as well, not as crowded as the uptown location. Nice quiet spot for some solid food.

Came with my 4yo. Asked them for a drink without the matcha so she could drink it. Told them they could charge me full price. They said no because “they couldn’t change the recipe”. I respect culinary creativity (when it’s actually there) I do not appreciate that a neighborhood establishment pushes patrons away for an arbitrary rule. Should have known better than to go in here.

Wonderful ambience, staff and great baked items. Good place to hang out. The only thing I didn't enjoy was that the other guests were extremely loud, some probably thought they were at an outside concert. The music played at the speakers were barely audible.

The best place to be in the East Village /university Place. Besides the great coffee and food the Staff is amazingly sweet, kind, and iut of this town in professionalism!!!
