Mediocre restaurant all around. Ok atmosphere but the food quality is bad. Pasta and pizza are ok but never had such bad steak and milanese . First of all they call the steak tagliata but it’s not, it comes as regular steak. 3 of us had it and they were all rock hard (despite being medium rare). We sent one back but came back the same rock. When you charge $58 for a steak it’s got to be perfect. The milanese is soaked in frying oil and also hard. Easily the worse Italian restaurant I’ve been.

Amazing atmosphere and staff were very kind. The space has a very cozy, yet elevated feel. Food was also great, I especially loved the appetizers and truffle pizza. A warm and welcoming experience, I would come here again. Reservation is a must.
Mamo has the best Italian food in SoHo! This restaurant has become a staple visit for my friends, family and myself. The variety of food can accommodate and please everyone and the service is incredible. Fast, friendly , and efficient always ! Leslie the Director, runs a flawless operation. We will be returning again very soon!

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. I arrived on time and waited for over an hour, and then they blamed me for their mistake. The staff was rude and completely unprofessional. Very disappointing — I definitely won’t be coming back.
The service was very poor we arrived on time but they were let us wait half an hour and finally we didn’t get out table.

Great atmosphere and service. The food did not live up to our expectations.
The cacio Pepe was oily. The fried artichokes were ok. Our pasta heavy handed. Eggplant had a burned taste to it.
The wine starting prices were a bit too high.

We had the Black Sea Bass special. It was light and served on a bed of vegetables, olive oil and olives. The food was extremely well prepared and delicious. Service and ambience was fabulous. Highly recommended.

Dined here last night. It was packed. Service was exemplary. We ordered the Truffle Pizza (Amazing and worth it), Tuna Carpaccio, cacio pepe( could have been warmer and creamier) and the Rigatoni ( Delicious).

Mamo is a 10! First sit upstairs. The restaurant is so pretty. The service is 5 star excellent. The food was excellent! The burrata special with honey and truffle was amazing. The shrimp pistachio pasta was another standout. Finally the tiramisu is one of the best i have had. Drinks also deliver! Loved the salami and eggplant too. This restaurant is a must in soho! Loved it and will be back!! Good for a birthday celebration too.

The service and atmosphere is fantastic at Mano, it’s a great place to go for either a date or with friends. The Agave Negroni was incredible too, big fan.
The truffle burrata was the best burrata I’ve ever tried. I would come here just to have the burrata. It actually pairs well with their truffle pizza too. Match made in heaven.
BUT the truffle pizza on its own was subpar, was somewhat dry, and did not have any other flavour outside of truffle and thick cheese. The pasta was just OK. The cacio e pepe just tasted like olive oil with some cream. The rigatoni was just a tad too sour. And the gnocchi, while fried beautifully, lacked any depth of flavour.
Truffle burata = 5 stars any day
Unfortunately the rest of the menu we tried was disappointing.

We had a truly excellent experience this evening at Mamo.
Giorgi was our host & amplified our hospitality experience to the next level.
He gave us such specific care and service, it made our visit so special .
We were offered some excellent white wine selections from Italy and my favorite, a Chablis from France, followed by some excellent recommended, starters and entrées.
We particularly loved the Come a Capri & Melanzane alla parmigiana.
The La nostra Cacio & Pepe is not to be missed & we will be dreaming about it until we return. The Polletto arrosto con verdure di stagione was excellent & I especially loved the vegetables served with it.
The dessert menu looked excellent, and we indulged in the crème brûlée.
It was excellent and we cannot wait to bring family and friends back.
Thank you again for the wonderful staff at Mamo for making our visit so wonderful.

We came here on a Friday night for dinner and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. From the music to the service, to the food, it was all excellent. The hostesses were kind and upbeat, and the waiter was able to suggest us very good drinks. The ambience is very good, I will definitely be coming back here! Very worth it

Had dinner at Mamo and really enjoyed the atmosphere—stylish and lively. The drinks were amazing and definitely the highlight. We had the Margherita pizza and Gamberi Rosi to start, which were good but not standout. For mains, the brisket pasta special was the best dish, while the Rigatoni all’Amatriciana was just okay. Service was excellent, and overall, it’s a great spot for drinks and ambiance, though the food was just good, not memorable.
