Absolutely amazing experience. The food was outstanding, every dish full of flavor and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is elegant but still warm and welcoming, perfect for both a date night or a night out with friends. The service was also top level, attentive, professional, and genuinely friendly. You can really feel the attention to detail in every part of the experience. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Such a beautiful place with a great service and delicious food. It was our first time at MAMO! Valentines Day dinner celebration went incredibly good! Even tho we had to wait about 20-25 minutes to get seated, They took such great care of us and they made our night very, very special! Thank you MAMO and see you soon!

I never write reviews but our experience was egregiously bad. We had a 10pm reservation and were told to wait downstairs until the table was ready. It took 45 minutes to be seated with no heads up from the hostess? For a reservation you’ve booked weeks in advance. You’re stuck waiting there thinking it will be 5 minutes, then 10, then 20, 30, … 45 minutes later you’re sitting there with the sunk cost.
We complained to the general manager about the wait and he didn’t care at all just said the rest of the night will go better. You expect better from a “nice” restaurant.

I was made to wait 30 minutes past my reservation slot. When I complained to the front of desk staff about the wait they assured me the manager would speak to me.
Once seated (and after complaining), I was told multiple times the manager would speak to me. However the manager never once approached me to ask what the problem was. Eventually I caught the manager (after he was done paying homage to wealthier looking guests (we were dressed extremely smart fyi)) and he paid no heed to my complaints.
He said they were busy and offered no apologies. I pointed out to him two issues: 1. If you have a booking system, and unless there is exceptional circumstances, there is no excuse for delays as you should plan ahead to ensure there is space for reserved guests. 2. Other wealthier looking guests were being seated despite arriving later than us. In fact a table, sat two over from us, were personally greeted by the manager. I am English and this would never happen in a high end restaurant, it was essentially two tiered treatment.
No apology was ever made by the manager on shift who was terrible and avoided us the rest of the night.
On the bright side: 1. The food was decent(nothing special) a bit heavy on the parmesan but no major complaints. 2. Our server Fernando was lovely 3. After I complained multiple times, I mentioned that traditionally you’d get a free dessert, they gave us free desserts to apologize. I note though that the manager never said sorry (he sent Fernando).
To summarise - They have lots of waiters doing different jobs to give the illusion of class but they don’t have an ounce of actual class. They need to train up their management team to understand what high class dining should be.

WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. Terrible customer service, extremely disrespectful with our booking time and made us wait an extra HALF AN HOUR once we had already made a booking WEEKS in advance. Made no effort to rectify this disrespect and instead tried to sweep it under the rug and BLATANTLY IGNORE US when other tables were being seated due to “appearing” wealither when we had already arrived early to our booking. Restaurant smelt TERRIBLE as if it had never been cleaned before and extremely warm to the point is was SICKLY. Food was less than average and EXTREMLY OVERPRICED for what it was. We were more than understanding with the delay, which was PURELY DUE TO THEIR POOR MANAGEMENT AND NEGLECT. They gave us a free desert, only AFTER we had stressed multiple times it was unacceptable treatment. You would think a restaurant this established would have figured out how to control the Friday dinner crowd, but I guess we all have our weaknesses. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!

We had a great meal at Mamo last week. Lovely atmosphere, food was great and service was exceptional. I wish we could say we’d be back but we were visiting NYC from England so hopefully we will be able to Mamo on another trip one day!
