They have a few different falafel sandwich options that vary by fillings. I highly recommend getting one of the options with babganouj. I got the Manhattan and it was delicious! They’re also very generous with their pickled veggies. Pita bread was just OK but it’s still a great sandwich. Pro tip: I thought it would come with spicy sauce but apparently you need to ask for it. I’ll try to remember that for next time.
Really good spot with quite a few vegan options. Their food is super flavorful, and I especially love their pita stuffed with falafel — always fresh and satisfying. Make sure you load up on all the sauces!
The best falafel in the west!

This place is absolute garbage. Red flags as soon as you walk in. Food is mid at best. Got bothered 3 times by street vendors begging for you to buy candy bars within 30m of eating.

Small falafel spot with fire sandwiches. Pretty good value for the price considering that it’s in Greenwich village. This is the spot to get a late night meal for pretty much every vegetarian and vegan at NYU who knows ball.

Excellent falafel shop near Washington Square Park with generous servings for the price. Outdoor seating on a classic Village street makes it a great stop for falafel.

Order a shawarma, just the sandwich. Taste was outstanding, service kind and fast. Can’t see how you’d go here and be disappointed.

Well, we visited as part of a food tour of NY. Being quite frank, if we had been by ourselves we might well have walked right past Mamoun's; it doesn't have the greatest frontage, and some might be put off.
But oh, my! Get in there and have yourself the best falafel around. We've travelled to many parts of north Africa and the Middle East and I can honestly say that this is the best falafel we have had - especially with that brutally gorgeous hot sauce (two bottles purchased to take back to the UK).
Definite revisit required!

I don’t understand how their falafel can taste so good. Best in the city. Get the falafel with hummus sandwich or two and have your mind blown. Great for lunch, even better after a concert or a night drinking with friends.

The falafel was delicious. The gentleman at the front needs to do a better job with his customer service skills

They finally have a card reader! No more angry strolls to ATM. Food is quite good, as always. Shawarma, falafel... savory snacking.
