This is not the one in the west village ..definitely a whole different vibe ..I can appreciate its here in my neighborhood; in case you need that "fix"..Really as far as food quality ; there is no difference between the village to this one..you can order from a kiosk here. In less than five minutes you're on your way out the door..The portion sizes don't compare at all (in my opinion) to the one in the village..however we are in the UWS...just thankful to go down the block and get my crave on

Set up for takeout and delivery. There are 4 seats at counters facing the sidewalk. Service was friendly, helpful and quick. Shop was clean. Food was mediocre, at best. Shawarma meat was a bit dry as were the pitas. Falafel should have more flavor. Our experience is consistent with other Yelpers. We ate there despite the lukewarm reviews because we were on-the-run and needed to grab something quick. Will not return even if pressed for time. There must be better "fast food" options in that neighborhood.

Very tasty halal food on the upper west side near the museum. Service is quick and speedy with lots of self seating. I'd say it's very reasonable for the upper west side. My plate ended up costing $20 with a tip. Food is very tasty and for being a sort of fast food atmosphere, I'm surprised by the quality. I do feel like since they offered so much on one the plate, I only got small tastings of everything which was a little disappointing, however I'm still satisfied with the overall experience. Sad I passed by for months and I'm only trying now! I will be returning! My mom will love this place. P.S. THE PICKLES ARE SO GOOD ADD MORE TO THE PLATES

8:30 at night and not busy. Still can't get it right. No lamb left, ordered Falafel plate. They gave me charcoal black chicken. Dry as crap. So wrong dish, and disgusting. What chef would serve that? Should be fired. This used to be an institution. They were bought out and destroyed. Horrible.

I slept so long on this business! Walked past a grillion times, and I walked past it again and decided I'd check it out for dinner. And man, am I still thinking about it!! There are tons of options and combos to get, but I'd like to talk about the vegetarian platter (which you can get with meat, lol as an option). Three veggie sides (which are like full on meals). I got falafel, hummus and grape leaves over rice with a side of pita. I'm used to restaurants in this area to be stingy. (Eg there is another we'll know middle eastern place on Bway that...is...). But I was so satisfied, I was literally thinking about what I can get next time!

Placed mobile order and during pick up my 8 months pregnant wife asked to use the bathroom and was denied. We've use bathroom there in past but they changed policy, fine. Instead when we ask for exception the manager (said his name was Luis) was really rude, hostile, aggressive and tried to belittle us. This guy is not manager material. No wonder the food at this particular location is worse than others
Visited this restaurant on a Saturday around noon in February 2024. I was expecting decent food, but the meat was dry and tasteless. Tasted like some left overs from the previous day. The cashier didn't seem to care much

I’ve been sleeping on Mamoun’s in the UWS! I ordered the east village falafel sandwich for delivery tonight along with a side a taboulleh and I was so immersed in the food I could not tell you what happened during the experience other than the fact that it was delicious.I usually go to the location in Greenwich village but it has been awhile even for that location. I am glad I ordered from here tonight.

Great joint for a quick bite or tasty snack. A variety of falafel plates and sandwiches, pastries and drinks. Small bites as in pita chips and so much more. Service is very quick. By placing the order on the self serve screen you don't have to wait long to the your food, within minutes you are ready to seat and enjoy your meal. Either you'll like to seat indoors, where there's only 4 stool, but you can also seat outdoors, which plenty of tables and enjoy fresh air. Pretty recommended to anyone who wants a healthy option, affordable and tasty! Btw, must try the pistachio Baklava :)
