I went here because it was in the results for nitro cold brew, but the machine was down. However, the barista was incredibly apologetic and kind about the mixup. This place is somewhat tucked away and easy to miss, which I like, and they had an assortment of baked goods that looked delicious. Please bring back your Nitro Cold Brew!

We were visiting NYC for a week recently. Right behind our hotel, was Manhattan Espresso Cafe. We went there on our first day and found ourselves coming back throughout the week. The coffee and espresso drinks were consistently excellent. The brownies are a must. The woman who owns the cafe is wonderful and enjoyable to talk to. They have also been there for 33 years. Impressive!

I think they objectively have some of the freshest and best tasting coffee in Manhattan. Super cute, small, intimate coffee shop in midtown. Service is incredible, and their treats are just as good as the coffee. I don’t know how more people know about this place, but it really is a unique coffee shop in a city with thousands of boring, bitter, and soulless cafes.
