One of the best meals we’ve had in NYC. Went family style with friends and was able to try many items. Definitely get the ravioli! Great wine menu as well.

Food and cocktails were excellent!! Even though our table wasn’t ready at the time of our reservation, staff were apologetic and comped a glass of wine and an appetizer for the wait. The atmosphere of this restaurant is very cozy and overall we had a great time! We would definitely come back.

We've been coming here for years and it never lets us down. But last night was particularly special. Cara & Keita (sp??) made our night especially delightful. The new(ish) restaurant space is lovely. And the food is always consistently delicious. The halibut dish is top 3 favorite dishes of all time for me. We come to New York and center our trip around at least one meal at Forge. Love it. Thanks for being awesome guys!

Great spot. Had the Laotian Sushi and Notkitori skewers to start. Both were fantastic but the Laotian Sushi was the most remarkable. Crunchy, toasty rice cubes with fresh fish and spicy sauce. So great!! The Salmon Croquettes were spot on as well. The only misfire was the Pork Chop. The chop was chewy and the sweet apple and spice reduction served over the pork simply overwhelmed the meat. The combination worked better on paper than in reality. Will go again just for the Laotian Sushi!

Horrible. I would’ve salvaged and gave at least two stars for service, but I found the comments to be so offensive.
To the bartender who kept calling me ma’am. I think you need to be about a decade younger to be able to call some of my age maam. You did it to be rude. As confirmation the comment proceeding confirmed this. I shouldn’t have tipped because the joke that you made after was offensive & You didn’t say it to be polite.
Given that I write about places in a longer form, I’m gonna pass on this location because I just don’t think it’s worth it.
I don’t think it embodies what the current state of New York cuisines are nor do I think the services is elevated to a point worth giving any credit.
The bartender was snarky and a bit offensive. The hostess is the only thing that was positive. Given the inconsistency at the bar, she almost filled out of place with her positivity, conversed with the sidebar attitude of the bartender.
The one from Houston. She was making slight eye remarks behind my back and didn’t think I could see it and then I looked up and noticed her and someone else almost mocking me.
Heads up, you don’t get credit for treating people like human beings at your bar. That is the basic standard. You never once asked if I enjoyed my meal you just collected the bill and went on. This restaurant is on my list now.
Will include a link if I write about this a longer form but again I just don’t think it’s worth it

You could tell from the street this place has it. The service was really friendly from the bartender to the waiters and staff. The atmosphere is just a perfect low light cool vibe and the food was fresh tasting and incredible! Loved the wagyu beef and the corn raviolis! Also get The Egg!

The new location of Marc Forgione does not disappoint.
Food: Solid. We got the Laotian sushi, sourdough bread, lobster appetizer and lamb main. All very delicious. I wish the lamb was a bit warmer, came closer to room temp. The dessert cookies are insane
