Quite a beautiful restaurant, but the food was not as great as I expected. The portions were large (photos are half a portion each) but the taste lacked the special touch that would make me want to come back. The halibut was cooked to the perfect degree, but the sweet taste from the sweetened almonds did not sit well with me and the risotto beneath was too salty. The fusili was good but not enough to linger on my mind. That said, it still seems like a nice restaurant to try out...
Returned for my first since before the pandemic and was disappointed. The servers were extremely inattentive and the food was nothing to write home about. I thought maybe I had romanticized my previous experience but then I learned the restaurant had been stripped of its two Michelin stars since my last visit and it all made sense. Overall it was fine. But in a city with so many incredible dining experiences, why bother?
This place is a gem! I’ve been enjoying this spot for more than 12 years and I just went back last week and the experience was absolutely spectacular! As always!!! Wine list and the service from the talented Somms are superb too! Brilliant Chef! Grazie mille!!!!
