First time coming to Marquee. Set high expectations for room to dance and space to breathe with the fact that it’s been renovated. Came to hear Alan Walker and enjoy the music but it was so cramped to the point it felt like we were sardines. The people that book the table renovations were also not spared any space. Felt both overwhelming and uncomfortable. The bar service was excellent it can be expensive but it’s to be expected. The staff checking tickets, ids, and bags were friendly and going at a good pace to make the line go smoothly.

Was here last year for a couple of concerts and the security, staff, and the audience were all extremely rude and off-putting. Decided to check out the new renovations recently done and saw Fisher on Oct 4th. The renovations are really nice and reaching the bar wasn’t as much of a nightmare as I assumed it would be. After ordering just ONE round of drinks (all doubles for 3 people) the bartender handed me the check and said “thank you SO much” in a tone that seemed strange.. I checked the bill and it was $175 including tip for just 3 drinks!!!! For comparison , last month I went to a concert at Brooklyn Storehouse and 3 double drinks+ tip was only $97 (still insane!) guess they’re aggressively trying to recoup their money from the renovations. Some of the event staff were friendly but most were unnecessarily rude, is it that hard to be nice to people??? Also my sister was celebrating her birthday, they confiscated her birthday sash (no explanation) and OF COURSE they lost it during the concert so when we went to retrieve it afterwards it was gone. We expected nothing less from these incompetent clowns. They only exist because of the artists they bring in, but no one in their right mind should ever just “go out” to marquee. Absolute thievery and slimy staff/security

I don’t even know where to begin with this abysmal venue. You get there you go through standard ticketing procedure, one inside you are welcomed by the dance floor that was recently renovated to provide more room for… DANCING. The problem however is, once the venue starts filling up, you start to notice that no one is moving. People are just standing there like zombies, cracked and drunk out of their minds. It also doesnt help that the opener was absolutely lost. He started off decent for about 20-30minutes and I don’t know what happened but he started slathering mess together.

I don’t know if its because we have been spoiled with some amazing music at raves/festivals that we go to, but this place has no love nor soul. It was by far one of the most uncomfortable experiences I have had at a show and in NYC. From the older crowd persistently trying to grab the attention of the younger people there, to the DJ tweaking out and playing earbleeding music spamming the bass you’d think you were going to vibrate through the floor, the random bottle girls walking around, there were more people talking than there was dancing.
Marquee does not know what they want to be, no identity, no organization. People bumping into you every 5 seconds trying to get to the front just to talk, getting to the bathroom is a chore, the staff standing around every corner of the venue staring at you will make you feel like you’re in the netflix movie The Menu . This place felt absolutely slimey and I am extremely disappointed that we were victims to that hellhole.

I waited for two hours to get in as a general admission ticket, but they wouldn't tell me when I could get in. I held it in and waited until I asked the manager, and he told me all the tickets were sold out. Those guys are just rude. When you see someone standing for two hours, isn't it normal to tell them to go back because there are no tickets?

Marquee is one of the last of a dying breed. They've seemed to last quite a while. I use to go there like 20 years ago. Not many clubs can say that. I do remember it being your typical packed NYC club. Clubs should be packed, that's normal. You have to get a proper table if you want space. I think at this point Marquee been around so long, they can kinda do whatever they want. They are like an elder at this point lol you can't argue with them. Chelsea use to be a club zone now it's empty but Marquee is still there, it's crazy they lasted so long. I hope they have another 20 years. It has a big venue heart but a small venue space.

Let’s start off by saying I went last night to see Zedd, and his performance was great. Sadly I couldn't enjoy the event because the Marquee is whole-heartedly an awful venue. The Marquee lacks the space to have a good time especially when they let greed run the business and sell way more tickets than the venue can handle. They stuffed so many people into such a small area that it was literally impossible to move due to everyone being shoulder to shoulder even at the far edges on the walls. It was so bad that there was a line outside of people waiting for other people to leave so they can come in even though they purchased tickets before the event. Astroworld had better safety protocols than this embarrassment of an establishment. New York honestly should have shut down the Marquee and kept the Brooklyn Mirage. I never plan to attend another event at the Marquee.

Paid $500 for 2 tickets for Steve Aoki. Called in advance because I’d heard there was a strict dress code..but there isn’t. Expecting to have a nice environment I wore a $400 supreme shirt that is now ruined due to the fact I had 2000 people push and shoving me all night. Also ruined a $300 pair of shoes. Got to the club and by 12:30 there where so many people in the building you could not move. People were moving everywhere back and forth by pushing through spilling their drinks on you. It was complete chaos. There were so many people there you couldn’t even dance without and to push fight with the people all around me. Security comes pushing through with no regard and getting to the bar was a push and scream fight. “New Marquee”? If that’s the upgraded version I would hate to see the mess it was before. If you want to have a good time and see someone popular….. find them somewhere else.

I had an incredible time at Marquee! Was my first time, and when I walked in, I was blown away by the lighting and decor. Absolutely stunning is what I would say! The space feels immersive and surreal with a spectacular interior giving away a very high-energy and almost cinematic atmosphere!! The music was a fabulous mix and twist of different genres which elevated the whole experience for me. They even played music from late 90s and early 2000s like ‘We will rock you’ by Queen!!! What a memorable night it was for me and my friend!!

We got there really late around 11.45 pm. So I am not sure if folks have to stand in long lines to get inside. We had to wait for about 10 mins in the line and could go inside after. The staff especially outside were not very polite. Which is a very typical club scene at most places in nyc.

The crowd was fun, diverse and full of great energy! I could literally see how everyone was having a good time. It was the music and ambience making the vibe so electric!

Easily a top-tier NYC nightlife spot for my list of go-to places!! I definitely recommend!

We went to see DJ Lauren Lane. The view was absolutely stunning, on a rooftop on the 100th floor. The ambiance of the place was amazing and definitely a vibe. However, there were a few downsides. The cocktail bar had a long line, so I ended up getting a beer from the beer stand instead. I think that's something they could improve. Also, I wish they played more current hits. Still, overall, the venue and the atmosphere were top-notch.

One of the worst Marriott I must say. Nothing fantastic about it except the location. With that price tag there are greater hotels in Asia.
