Do not come here. Extremely aggressive bouncers. Especially the korean dude with long hair outside who acts tough but is a coward who randomly refuses people he doesn't like. Also the drinks are extremely overpriced. Always double check your tab because they will add extra charges to your bill without telling you. Maru has really gone downhill and will eventually shut down. Just an outdated venue stuck in the past that no one goes to anymore.

I don’t like this place. I left something there and they didn’t allow me to go find it. The security stuff said something like “we have cleaned all the stuffs and if u keep going inside and we will kick u out” that’s so ridiculous cuz we paid for 10 bucks and we are not able to pick up our lost stuff

20$ to get in for dudes. Free for girls. Played mostly K-pop and popular song dance mixes. Lots of people there

Bouncers overstep their authority, and they provoke physical confrontations with customers. Do not come here

Security guard kicked me out while I was waiting for my girlfriend while I had her phone. They said I was waiting by the bathroom 3 times looking for girls when it was my first time in the bathroom. I argued to atleast wait for my girlfriend. They didnt let me. Really dumb security guards.

Bad idea to come. Karaoke was ok. Good sound system but difficult to find songs and seemed to just use karaoke songs from youtube. Also they forced us to get food and beverage service for the number of people in the party even though we were already full which was a total rip off. Club was empty on a Friday night. I’d go somewhere else especially since there are many options in ktown. Won’t be back.

They didn't have popular music, the system was in korean, drinks were expensive and the room wasn't 50$. They had no happy hour like they advertised.

Let's be honest - we all came here because it was in Succession

But this karaoke lounge is extraordinarily overpriced, has a terrible catalog, and mediocre at best service

Just do yourself a favor and go to Space Karaoke

Absolutely do not come here if you want to have a good time. Bouncers were weird and strangely aggressive about bathroom lines (?) Saw some girl trying to talk to her boyfriend in line and the bouncer almost kicked him out (saw the same thing in the guys’ line too). Drinks are overpriced and it’s super cramped. Den or Mission are definitely better - avoid at all costs if you’re not a friend of the owner.

I would give this place 0 starts. The owner of Maru
took a bite of a chicken wing and put it inside of my drink that I paid for. When I ask the bartender she said “He’s the owner” and she didn’t make me a new drink her attitude was so disgusting….then the owner walked passed me again and pushed me strongly that’s when I knew I had to leave what is wrong with this people.
