Stopped in for lunch before a show nearby. Excellent service and atmosphere, great music and amazing food.
it was a rainy, dark evening in new york, so ramen was definitely the vibe this day. i stumbled upon marufuku ramen, and let me tell you it did not disappoint. the ramen is really great. very flavorful broth, i literally almost finished that before the actual noodles and protein. i highly recommend getting the tori paitan ramen! it’s nice to have a break from tonkotsu ramen sometimes and the rich chicken flavor is amazing. highly recommend getting a beer or cocktail for your ramen too. also the karaage was great too! come check it out!
This is a nice spot for yummy Ramen and rice bowls. Prices are reasonable and the service is fantastic! We also really liked the cocktails. We would definitely comeback!
Absolutely Delicious – A Plant-Based Delight! 🌱🍜
I recently had the pleasure of trying the vegetable ramen, and I was genuinely blown away. From the very first bite, it was clear that this dish was made with care, creativity, and incredibly fresh ingredients.
The broth was rich and flavorful, with a perfect balance of umami and subtle sweetness – hard to believe it was completely plant-based! The noodles had just the right amount of chewiness, and the generous mix of seasonal vegetables added not only beautiful color but a variety of textures and tastes that kept each mouthful exciting.
What really impressed me was how satisfying and comforting this ramen was without being heavy. It left me feeling nourished and energized rather than weighed down. Whether you’re a vegetarian, vegan, or simply someone who enjoys delicious food, this vegetable ramen is a must-try.
Highly recommended – I’ll definitely be coming back for more!
Great atmosphere and food is good.
Sat at the ramen bar (there is a larger section with tables) and got the chicken paitan dx - huge and delicious meal. I don't normally like chicken cha shu but theirs is tender and flavorful. The noodles are thin and you get a whole, not half egg. The grilled chicken leg on the side is served sizzling with bean sprouts around it. It is tender and easy to pull apart. Fantastic meal and will def be back.

Uanmi is the ultimate superhero at this place. Her personality and hospitality is there and beyond. She runs circles around this place. Honestly aside from the kitchen staff, she and them are amazing. The other waitstaff is subpar- the others try to make themselves busy while this girl puts in work, running circles around the rest. While Umami was on break I waited an hour to close out and no one came to me. What’s the use if she is the only one doing due diligence to this place? I left but will be back to pay my check and a hefty tip to that girl who runs the place. Great food but they have only one person really giving their all to run this place. Get it together and get more staff that values the customer like she does. Pay that girl more money to do what she does before someone steals her and offers her more

My favorite ramen in SF is now in NY. Definitely get the Chicken Paitan. The gyoza are just alright, but you're really coming for the ramen.

Went here 3 weeks ago Im wondering who they paid off in the health department to have an A grade cause they should have a B at the highest I came in for happy hour gyoza got 2 orders of gyoza one order had a long black hair on it so I send it back I don’t ask for a new one to be made & I ask for my check they didn’t take the order I sent back off the bill & I had to ask them to take it off the bill while I’m waiting I see two orders for the deluxe chicken ramen & the waiter when it arrives in the window to be picked up they start arranging the bean sprouts with their bare hands.

Sooo good. We got the spicy pork ramen and it was comparable to what we got in Japan! Highly recommend and perfect for a cold winter night. Great vibes. Quick service.

The food is good. The service was terrible. The Asian lady with the short hair was really rude. When I order, I don’t know she’s laughing at my pronunciation or something, but she’s just very rude . Rushing us to pay. But especially the lady is not Asian service is good. I came several times and she remember what I ordered. I hope manager can teach the Asian lady with short hair be more professional. I believe the review who mentioned about terrible service is talking about that lady because the others service is really good.

Food was mediocre. The ramen wasn’t hot and that’s the first thing you’d expect at a ramen place. Also the vibe in the main area is decent but the side tables almost felt like they weren’t part of the restaurant.

Service was amazing! Everyone welcomes you in Japanese. The food came quickly as ordered. The duck oat tai my friend ordered came with a deluxe ramen option she couldn't finish by the sheer size of the dish. So ask about portions. My classic tonkotsu ramen I ordered mild (they ask you how you want it). The broth was white. I'm used to a more brownish pork broth but maybe it was less condensed or maybe just didn't have other additives like other places. It still tasted good but I felt it needed some more flavor. I guess if you do spicy you won't feel any problems. My vegan friend was able to order non egg noodles for his ramen.
The atmosphere is great! We all order an appetizer or a drink or two and it was around $33 plus tax and tip. so great price.
