Mary O’s is the NYC line you never skip. Their soda bread scones hit like a tiny Irish punch—crisp on the outside, melting on the inside, and that butter? Soft, warm, and sliding on so smooth it should probably buy you dinner first.
Such a great scone. Not even a scone person and this was superb. Felt like I’m in a little English cottage eating this. Even two days later, it tasted so fresh, fluffy, and crispy on top, right out of the oven. Delicious butter and jam, too.

Mary O’s is the type of establishment that New York was made from. Hardworking owners, simple but good drinks, unassuming food that warms your belly and makes you want more. It’s a local place that even if you’re not local makes you feel a part of its community. It’s simply the best. Just go, sit, talk to the patron next to you and enjoy.
