My wife and I had a wonderful time, and enjoyed a great meal. . I don’t know why it is taboo to take pictures, and be able to post them to Google reviews if you ate there. I think Google is doing disservice to the public.

Note there are 2 restaurants conflated here - Masa, a super high end omakase restaurant, possibly the most expensive in the city, and Bar Masa, a related lower end (although still good), creative menu’d more casual place. This is review is for the latter, because they are not listed separately by Google maps.

I got the hinoki experience. Everything was amazing and, dare I say, perfect from taste to presentation. It was the best 3-Michelin meal that I had in NYC. The sushi was out of this world. The sake recommendation was on point. The no photo policy is a shame since everything was so pretty.
