The vibe is French Bistro, the service is OK, the ambience is like Yankee Stadium during the playoffs.... crowded and deafening. If they could fit more people in with a shoehorn, I'm sure they'd try!

Good service, pretty place, food okay, but tight tables and high noise levels made for uncomfortable dinner.

This place continues to struggle with challenges that have presented themselves throughout the various iterations of ownership and names it has experienced. It should be more than it is. It's located in an uber rich neighborhood. It should be the right price point for locals who will go to Per Se or the equivalent tomorrow, but tonight are just looking for a comfort meal close to home. So what's the problem? Too cramped. Too noisy. Too (unbelievably, considering the neighborhood) , “out of town”. And it's too bad. The staff is attractive, friendly, and anxious to please. Everyone is very nice. Unfortunately, “nice” and good intentions can't make up for ordinary food and cramped tables when the tab can easily run to more than $100 a person.

Not the greatest French experience. Thought the food was fair but not amazing. The autumn soup seemed watery.

The atmosphere is authentically French. Every item on the menu is delicious, well-presented, and served in good sized portions. The staff is exceptional - helpful, knowledgeable, and very nice.

Quintessential French Bistro. Literally could be deposited from the streets of Paris. Ambiance, food and service are exceptional. We always make sure that we visit when we are visiting NYC.

Outstanding service. Thank you Match65 for making our reunion/birthday celebration a relaxing, delicious and memorable evening. Your attention to my reservation requests were seamlessly and gracefully executed. And - the trout almondine special was wonderful!

Good but not great. Steak Frites meat was supposedly NY strip but was unusually tough. Tasted more like a chewy Flank steak.

Every staff member here knows how to make you feel welcome. The menu delivers predictable results. I haven't received such good service in ages. Perfect location. The meal deserves every penny paid.

Highly rec the Chevre Chaud Salad. It was exceptional! The staff here is also extremely lovely. A welcome change (and did not get annoyed when I asked if I could take a work call here, unlike some of the other cafes in the area).

Service excellent, helpful and attentive
Food not nearly as good as the times we have been before. The meat was so very tough and the Caesar Salad had too little dressing and no taste at all. Very sad about this. Would have wanted better food to match the service.
