Celadon Whisk Stand

We recommend that you store your bamboo whisk on this whisk holder directly after using and cleaning. The bamboo prongs of the matcha whisk are delicate and, after repeated use, they can begin to lose shape. While the exact, original shape of the whisk is not meant to hold after use (the curve naturally adjusts and the curl at the ends releases), the whisk holder supports the structure and maintains the shape of the whisk strands.

Traditional Bamboo Whisk

The Bamboo Whisk is the authentic traditional tool to prepare a perfect cup of matcha. This was the utensil used thousands of years ago during traditional Japanese tea ceremonies. Skillfully use the whisk in a zigzag motion until frothy. It will give the matcha green tea a smooth and frothy, light consistency, heightening the Matchaful experience. To extend the life and shape of your whisk, consider purchasing our whisk holder to dry the whisk as well as maintain the shape of the bamboo prongs.

Asanoka Limited Reserve Matcha - 100g

Kiwami means "ultimate" or "extreme." As such, our Kiwami matcha is our highest grade of matcha. It comes from single-cultivar tea leaves, ground from hand-picked tea leaves of the renowned Okumidori cultivar in Shizuoka, Japan. The Okumidori cultivated tea variety is very ideal for making into matcha. Our Kiwami matcha has a balanced umami flavor, with tasting notes of floral, honey, and cream. This matcha is pesticide-free, ground from first-harvest tea leaves grown on a single estate.

I have been going to this Matchful and other locations for a couple years. Service is consistently great. I do want to give a particular shout out to the current Prince street team. They are the best hype people. Today, I walked in and I was greeted immediately and made to feel like the most beautiful and accomplished person in the world. Was such a lovely pick me up!
