Absolutely amazing overall, their coffee, espresso’s, croissants, bereka(must try once) and spinach feta pie(my personal favourite).

One of the nicer Mattos in the city. It’s clean, service is fast and attentive and they have a nice big selection of cookies and pastries. Different choices than some of the other branches. I noticed a thick vanilla chip and macadamia nut cookie. You can’t go wrong for $3. Everything at Matto is affordable. Order on the app for extra savings.

amazing coffee shop! we went here because it was closest to our hotel but the photos really don’t do it justice. the pastries looked and tasted amazing, the coffee is great, the baristas are super nice and on top of that our coffees were only $3.50 each(!!). i HIGHLY recommend going here.

Great coffee and pastries, but the staff is what has me returning! They are always so cheerful and helpful. I have gone to the 38th street and 40th street locations.

Best cappuccino I’ve had, amazing fresh warm croissants and friendly staff. Even better that it was right next door to our hotel.

Iced coffees were decent, as were the pastries. It’s small but has some stools. I was told there was no bathroom.

We had the cinnamon scones, chocolate chip cookie. Along with the frappe and strawberry matcha. Everything was amazing. Specifically the pastries, they tasted freshly made!

Some places know how to do a really great almond milk latte. This is not one of them.

Tea was very light and the cake was dry

Great place for coffee and pastries. Very nice people. And what I specifically like is that they offer a short size cappuccino. I stayed at the apartment next door and regretted that I only visited them on my last day.

Stumbled upon this cafe near grand central while looking for a local café on Google maps, but a bit dissatisfied that it being part of a commercial chain. The place has a sleek, modern interior and a tempting pastry selection. I ordered a decaf iced latte with almond milk, but unfortunately, the espresso was overly bitter and lacked any fragrance or depth—likely due to an untuned machine. It wasn’t an enjoyable cup. The cheese bureka looked appetizing and flaky, but I didn’t get to try it as I was already full. I will have to mention the price is unbeatable though, the small latte is 3.8$. If you’re in a rush and just need a quick, affordable, caffeine fix, it might do well.
