I’ve been to many Matto locations in Manhattan, but the one on 79th & Lex is excellent in so very many ways. So much so that I try to get there nearly every day.

I am always greeted effusively by the staff and in particular by Mohamed and Salma; both always remember my standard drink order and begin preparing them right after they see me walk in.

I switched to Matto Espresso for my daily coffee routine 3 months ago, and have been very happy with the delicious coffee and food, and excellent service. And, I'm saving money which is quite a bonus. I've had great experiences at locations around Manhattan and especially 79th and Lex and highly recommend.

I visit this Matto location weekly as it is the perfect location for proximity to All Souls and the park. Not only is the service super speedy and always amazingly consistent, the rewards are phenomenal, the $3 menu is the best value in town, and most of all, Sherin makes each visit so memorable and lovely. She is always a bright spot in my day. With lots of nice coffee options around between Blank Street and Joe and the Juice, and of course the dreaded Starbucks, I would choose...
