Best Vegan Thai restaurant in NYC! I recommend noodle soup with coconut milk, and the drunken noodles are my absolute favorite! They have cooking classes available here as well which I love with May! May is an absolute delight, like sunshine in human form!Vegetarian options: Vegan restaurant!

Calling all your attention to @maikaydee, a family run hidden Thai haven in NYC!! They bring out the Thai flavors in most of the food on their menu..What's more, it's all Vegan and Plant based!! so go all crazy with your Thai cravings! The steamed dumplings with no onion no garlic or mushroom a rarity.. so had to order those and boy they were good and filling!!Entre I landed on the Isaan vegan which is a textured vegetable protein.. it was good but had more sabzi texture than curry..Lastly, missus had pad Thai and opines that she had better pad Thai else where and I make a point to do what the missus says!!Let me know how you guys like this place and drop a comment on where else you find amazing Thai food!!#thejainfoodranger #maykaidee #jainfood #jainfoodie #jainfoodnyc #thaifoodnyc #thaifood #steameddumpling #padthai #isaancurryDietary restrictions: Jain food available

Awesome food. Vegan is not usually my thing but this was great. Flavors were rich and complex and full of great ingredients. The owner (is it May?) was there and we just asked her to bring what she enjoyed preparing. She brought out dish after dish. There was a bamboo shoot dish with tempeh (?) that was unbelievable.Dietary restrictions: Vegan

They source their ingredients fresh every day which was apparent in the taste of the dishes. A nice combination of spices in each dish.

The food brings be back to when I backpacked Thailand - DELISH and so pretty.... but to be honest, you need to go here to meet the woman who owns this place! I've never quite met anyone with so much joy and spontaneity - after we ate, she just put on music and taught us a Thai dance, right on the streets of NYC! Then we moved on to Karaoke haha. I'm bring my mom, my husband and all my friends. Go!!

Nearly all of their dishes are gluten-free. My order included the Pad Thai and fresh spring roll. They also have no and low oil options and healthy bowls which I hope to try next time.

This was a matter of serendipity that I found this place, needed to sit down (as per usual) and make a healthy dining experience. The spring rolls were so fresh that it tasted like the avocados were picked at the very moment, peeled, and given to me. The same reaction goes for all the other contents in them. But I am writing this review specifically to rave about the amazing chickpeas and peanut sauce. I have only ever had canned chickpeas and they were always good enough for me to make a nice chickpea salad that's heavy on garlic. So tasting these chickpeas made me realize that I didn't even know chickpeas could be so fresh and, well, I can't describe them otherwise. Perhaps the word I'm looking for is AUTHENTIC? I hope I'm right. I really hope everyone tries them. Highly recommended. I also highly recommend the peanut sauce. I never tried peanut sauce before, by choice, but today I tasted it without knowing what it was. I am a picky eater and I truly enjoyed the fact that it wasn't too liquidy or too thick or too coarse or too strong. I was surprised that it had no aroma. I was even more surprised that I liked it as I usually stick with my tried and true items. Finally, their Jasmine Green Tea was also great, not too sweet or bitter or strong or aromatic. If you want a meal that is easy on your body and your digestion, check out May Kaidee.

Cute little spot with a lovely vibe. The Thai tea was not that great. The dumplings were delicious but a bit expensive for 6 pieces. The drunken noodles were good but I've had better. It's great to see a vegan Thai place. The owner and staff were lovely.

Had a late night mango salad outside on the cozy patio with lights and personal service from the owner. Absolutely delicious…fresh not too raw mango, a little chili more than a few places use, as it was perfectly balanced by the other ingredients. Fully excellent. The Thai tea with coconut cream was wonderful even on a hot humid night. Amazing, would order any variation with interest.New favorite. Super cool veggie Thai spot with a uniquely styled owner and her cookbook featured in the interior, go grab a copy, you will want to at least try to recreate her magic. Then just get real and order delivery. The takeout menu lists delivery times by area, and it’s extensive so you might be included. If you want fresh and filling, traditional but creative, I’d say this is choice. Order up!Vegetarian options: Many choices, mango salad pumpkin hummus etc etc noodles

The food was very delicious, especially the soup (which was indeed spicy) and the iced Thai tea. I will definitely come again to try more items on the menu.

Was walking by and saw plant-based so I had to try! Lots of wonderful options. Started with the Mango Salad which was delicious! Next had Stir fried Eggplant with Shitake Mushrooms. So good with brown rice. The service was good though the A/C was not working ‍ and they had blowing fans all over the place. I recommend the food!
