Was craving tex mex baddd and being from Texas, that’s a hard craving to satisfy in NYC. Maz Mezcal honestly did not do a bad job, I enjoyed this meal.

I got the Enchiladas Combinadas platter which featured three different enchiladas, rice, and refried beans. The chicken and cheese enchiladas were pretty good. Seasoning on the chicken was nice and the red sauce worked well with it. The beef enchilada I thought was just fine and lacked a bit of depth to it....

Maz Mezcal is an institution. A place always worth going to. Great guacamole, great fajitas, and great mole. I have gone there for years and it is consistently good. Also very nice people and good places to sit outside. Good drinks and fun.

Usually we have a wonderful experience every time. Our server must have been new. We were a table of 7 with kids and he forgot one of the kids meals, and took forever to come back and rarely checked on us. We will always come back since we love this restaurant but hope this is a one time experience
