Stopped in yesterday (Dec 9th, 25 12:05pm) for a pint while waiting the hour for my bus. I inquired about any craft beer offerings as a brewer yet was told they're weren't any before noticing Goose Island on tap. I informed the bartender pleasantly that Goose Island was a craft offering and that'd be my choice. $8 pint, $1 tip and I slowly enjoyed my beverage to kill the time. I had enough time to order a second pint but the bartender was completely fixated on a male patron (I'm guessing a love interest) and wouldn't budge to attend to any of the other patrons. After trying to catch his attention for 20+ minutes I left at 12:45 to catch my 1pm bus upstairs. Disappointed because this would have been a 5 star review if it wasn't for the lousy bartender.

I wasn’t expecting much from a bar in Port Authority, however needed a bite in a pinch. The chicken tenders were inedible, the consistency of fried goo, no real meat. Sodas were bad also, carbonated water to syrup ratio was off. The bartender was pleasant.

I walked in and sat down, wasn’t greeted, and there was no waiter. A female bartender finally said something to me 10 mins later. The female bartender wasn’t welcoming. She sat my drink on the counter and did not say anything. I wasn’t paying attention and then happened to notice my drink was in front of me.. x the food is best basic, just edible… won’t return 😑

The bartender is super rude and not good vibes. He's buddy's that came randomly out of nowhere took my Phone while I was getting popcorn. All of a sudden I called police and once he realized things got serious called his friends to bring my phone back. I had to miss my doctor appointment waiting for his buddies to bring it back to police station. Worst service and this type of person shouldn't work there. Please be aware

This is a hidden gem. Lots of regulars here. Bartenders will call you on your bs so don’t act rude. Great drink makers and they have a nice cold Guinness. Free popcorn is a plus.

respectfully, nobody here is rude? i just think because it’s in port authority and a lot of the people aren’t from new york they’re not used to how people serve or speak here. it’s straight to the point which- as a native new yorker i like, tell me what u want, i get it, a lot of tvs , great if you’re slow. and want to be left alone, great if you’re with a friend and want it to feel like its just both of you. food not ideal but this is more of a bar than a restaurant to be fair . i like it a lot, def where i go to chill after work, bartenders are acc very nice which is why i made the previous comments. Come for a beer wine or a drink, just chill and sit. very low pressure🤣

Tried to get a bite to eat before my train came & did not feel welcomed by the bartender. My mom was a little indecisive about what she wanted to order & the bartender rolled her eyes & said “give me a break” She was very rude & unwelcoming! Everyone else was greeted with a smile but my mother, cousin, and I; we automatically felt her agitation with us. We politely expressed how we felt & she told us to leave! We asked for a manager but there was no manager on duty. To describe her respectfully; she was a petite asian woman (I did not get her name)

Years ago was trapped here in a snowstorm and it was the closest thing to a Billy Joel song I ever experienced. Also saw Mesi win the world cup here as I was traveling for Easter and made friends with a bunch of Germans. McCann's, Come for a drink, stay for the humanity!
Whichever bartender has the lined up beard and the comb over with pound of gel in it is the rudest guy I’ve ever met. Avoid just because of him.

I have never ever been into a bar and I am in my 40s , McAnn’s was my first bar experience in 2023 where I felt safe and comfortable -well lit areas that allow you to see clearly and feel less vulnerable. Thank you Mr. Patrick for observing how many drinks I’ve had. I am so impressed by your professionalism you've shown in your role.

Went in on a whim with me brother. Had a wonderful late lunch. Solid music and good atmosphere. We recommend this joint. My brother ordered a cosmopolitan which was not on the menu and the Bartender made quick work of it.
