Yesterday July 16 was with my friend at the bar and a bartender With a white t-shirt he made us get out of the bar for no reason, he got angry with my friend because he didn't speak English well and I came from the bathroom and threw the drinks at us and apart from that he charged us the drinks He charged us more, he treated us badly and discriminated against us for being Latinos We always go to that place after work and that is the only bartender that treated us badly and discriminated against us
What could have been a great end to the night at a local pub quickly turned into a deeply disappointing experience after my friend and I were aggressively cursed out by a security guard—completely unprovoked.
When I called the pub to report the incident, the person who answered sounded entirely unfazed, which suggests this kind of behavior may not be out of the ordinary there. That in itself is troubling.
It’s especially disheartening because I’ve passed by this place many times and finally decided to give it a try—only to be disrespected by a security guard (an older Black man with greying dreads) for no apparent reason. When I simply asked about entry, he dismissed me and said I looked too young to even be asking—despite the fact that it was literally my 22nd birthday.
I frequent pubs often and have never encountered this kind of hostility, especially from a security guard. It’s hard not to wonder if the aggression was a way of gatekeeping based on appearance or assumed background. Either way, it left a terrible impression.
Sweet happy hour deals!

If you're looking for a comfortable, friendly pub with good food at great prices, this is it. Staff remembers your face and name (given time, of course!) and happy hour has these wonderful little chips.
My comfort place of choice.

There’s a group of regulars picking fights with other customers—the security knows about them but turn a blind eye. We got kicked out when the regulars were the aggressors.

I didn't eat here but the food looked really good. I snuck in here for a couple goblets of wine. The small goblets of wine were $15 a piece which I find steep but the owner just so happened to be sitting 2 barstools down from me then he moved next to me and struck up conversation with me and bought me my 2nd drink which was very sweet of him to do. He's from Ireland..very personable. This pub is usually full but I got lucky and found a tool open.

used to be a regular here but lately the bartenders have gotten SO rude.
assuming that we won’t tip her, yoshi at the bar overcharged us. seemed like a super racist move to pull off- would recommend not going here unless you want a good dose of racism :)
