Fantastic food. On the pricier side but that’s to be expensive. Chulent and kugel on thursdays are amazing. They have a great Groupon for a full sandwich, soup, and drink which I think is the best deal. The place has one of the better pastrami in NYC besides deli kasbah and Mr. Broadway

We ordered lunch from Mendy’s NYC for our team at the office, and it was an absolute hit! The food arrived fresh, well-packaged, and right on time. Everyone raved about the quality—especially the pastrami and the matzo ball soup, which were both outstanding.
The portions were generous, and everything tasted homemade and comforting. It’s clear they put care into every order, even for a larger group. Customer service was also top-notch—friendly, efficient, and very accommodating to our dietary needs.

This place is just sub par. Never order a sandwich. If you order chicken on a plate you may get something that you could swallow because it's hard to mess up chicken. It seemed that they don't want customers.

Order from Too Good to Go app. It's not a bad variety. But, I didn't enjoy the square looking food item. The half wrap + soup was quite delicious.
I kinda expected a loaded pastrami sandwich for $22. The meat was lumped in the middle of the rye bread, so so on the taste. My onion rings were burnt to a crisp, basically inedible. The grilled vegetables were fine (zucchini, bell pepper, onions, and carrots).
I had a lovely lunch experience eating at Mindy’s. Your employee Lenny , made sure my first time was memorable & satisfying. I heard good news on the pastrami sandwich and how it’s the BEST in NYC. I thought it wasn’t true until I had it today! It is so good the taste is truly an original recipe the prices are well deserved. 10 out of 10 I recommend anyone to come here and eat for lunch.
