This place has the best swordfish in the city! The best! I always go here when I give a friend an Armani suit and he offers me a meal as compensation. They also have great soup, but, I don't count that as a meal.

Would love to be able to write a great review but the delivery service was so terrible that after waiting for an hour, not only did they go to the wrong address, but I ended up canceling as our lunch guests had already left. Then the guy who I spoke to blamed my (British) accent for his inability to capture the delivery address correctly!

Mendy’s is a great deli, I always stop by for lunch if I’m in the area. I usually get the turkey pastrami sandwich and a soup. My wife likes the tuna on rye a lot and I bring her back one. They also have good hotdogs and potato knishes. I think the portions are very good too.

Absolutely delicious. Best grilled chicken avocado wrap I’ve ever had. Best chicken fingers. Teriyaki and spicy both so good. Got my whole office (even the non-Jews) ordering kosher lunch from Mendy’s at least twice a week.

Went recently for the first time. Had a pastrami sandwich. The pastrami is every bit as good as the " name brand" delis. Unfortunately, it's served on the cheapest crap white bread shaped like rye. I'll never understand establishments who get the hard stuff right and screw up the easy part. They obviously buy this cheap bread in bulk and it really does detract from the sandwich. Next time when I go, I'll come with my own two slices of rye and throw their bread in the garbage. I wouldn't even give their bread to birds. I have too much respect for them. Come on Mendys, do the simple stuff correctly. Did I mention that the pastrami was excellent? I had to withdraw one star for the garbage bread.

Ordered the the grilled salmon salad and received a salad with a very tiny piece of salmon. We paid full price and wasn’t provided with a full order. This is not a portion to serve a child let alone an adult. Shame on
