Warm service, simple but spacious dining area. Tried hot premium shoyu ramen - just ok, a bit short on umami so I had to get extra chili paste to get some flavor to the broth. Also tried the cold spicy miso ramen - better flavor. The wavy noodles are pleasantly chewy, plenty vegetable toppings & a decent size cha-shu slice came standard. A bit pricey but maybe it's just in keeping with Manhattan perpetually increasing prices. Glad to have tried this place but unlikely...
Second time coming here over the last 2 years of visiting. First time was better, this time was mid. The shoyu (basic) ramen was waaaaaay too salty, although tasty and yummy. The curry chicken was too spicy and also quite salty! There was a lot of bean sprouts mixed into the noodles, so it feels like you get less noodles versus the other bowls.

They do have a policy that it is one order per person at least. So order appetizers if you can’t finish one bowl....
Divine broth, check. Vegan / Vegetarian options, check. Bar seating, check. Tarnished and varnished bar-feel without feeling dirty, check. My heart, eaten. I cannot wait to go back!
