With its retro, 90s art gallery vibes, candlelit tables, polished silverware and excellent service, Michael’s is dripping with ambiance and is an ideal, quiet spot in the heart of the city. A small, albeit diverse menu should have something for everyone. Service was good, if a little slow and our waiter often seemed aloof. I was surprised to see how empty it was at 6 on a Saturday, but perhaps it gets busier in the evenings or during the week?

It seems like making a reservation is the best idea. We visited for lunch, and it packed up quite quickly. The food was okay. The service was good.

Ordered the burger and no way is it worth $40. It's tiny, and just average (not that much better than what you'd get at a regular diner). I asked for medium rare and got it well done. So disappointed with this place

Personally I did not like the food so much. It was a very decent meal however it was not delicious. My mIn course was Grilled Branzino. We also had Crispy Brussels Sprouts. Both were too heavy. They are supposed to become super gentle dishes, truly do not understand what happened. Perhaps they used too much olive oil. Service was very professional, at times even exaggerated. Nice thing is that there is a coat checker at the enterance.

We went to dinner after visiting MOMA. Traditional Italian style restaurant with meats and fish Careful service. Dishes with beautiful presentation. Delicious food. I recommend

Nice restaurant, comfortable and beautiful. The service was really nice all the time even with our baby! The food was really good. We tried the snapper, also the chicken and the asparragus.

Food is ok, not spectacular as I had expected from previous reviews. The tomato was very good, but the rest was not very tasty. Service was great, the waiter’s was very attentive. The chair was badly worn and is in need of some tlc. It was not very busy when I was there.

Exceeded already high expectations. Excellent service, food and ambience. The only small issue is that it gets pretty loud when people start to arrive, but definitely not a deal breaker. Michael came around to our table, welcomed us and really made the entire experience that much more personal and special. He even interrupted his lunch to thank us on the way out. I will definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful lunch, Michael.
