I think it's the best falafel in NYC as a middle easterner this taste like home and I bring friends here because that's how good it is. Other places don't make it like this and have a better rep just because it's a name but not the quality of the food, if you want a good falafel or shawarma this is the spot and not overpriced

Popped in yesterday for a falafel and a schwarma to go for the first time . Place was busy and people we're getting served I in a timely fashion. I ordered both pita sandwiches on whole wheat (which tastes better if you ask me) and all the fixings including their oops hot sauce . My co-worker has never had schwarma before (he's from Iowa) and he loved it ... it was funnY seeing his face light up at all the new flavors. My falafel was fresh and delicious and to tell you the truth I'm writing this at 11:00 am because I've been thinking about ordering one today too , it's that good ! Highly recommended! J

Easy to miss location, but worth the find. This is one place I like to revisit when in New York. Good food portions and prices.

I went in because I had a craving for falafels and saw that this place had good reviews on yelp. When I ordered the prep station person wasn't there. So one guy who I suspect was the manager went behind the counter, picked up the falafels with his bare hands (didn't see him wash them) and tossed them in the fryer. Then after I paid, the cashier banged on the bathroom door and the prep station guy came running out. He put on gloves but basically did so by touching all over them in a way that defeated the purpose of putting them on. Then rammed his fist into the pita to open it up. I took the sandwich home and tried to talk myself into forgetting what I saw but ultimately decided to just throw it out. I'm giving 2 stars because maybe I was just paranoid or overreacting as a germaphobe, but in todays society with viruses and things spreading you can't be too precautious. MAYBE the food is good and MAYBE I didn't have anything to worry about, but did not want to take the chances.

I went today and ask the cashier if they have beef shawarma, he said yes , so I ordered the combo , but instead they tried to serve me the kofta kabob, when I told him that's not what I ordered he got Very upset and he start fighting with me, then he said I'll give you chicken, I don't want chicken, I don't want kofta , just give me what I ordered and don't pull the switch on me.

I was hungry. I saw Taco Bell, which I knew would be filling but horribly average. Then I saw it..FALAFEL. It was destiny. I was in Jerusalem last year and was getting nostalgic, and this place satisfied all hankerings. I had a falafel with hummus, and it was perfection. Seven bucks and I was a goner.

If I'm the area I definitely stop here for falafel and the sabich pita (eggplant and egg). I find both tasty and reasonably priced. Total for both items is about $11.

I was actually debating to walk an avenue over when I saw the words "falafel" flashing at me as soon as I got out of my building and turned. Why walk more? I popped in to get lunch and this is a place to grab a quick bite (nothing fancy), conveniently located outside the 1 train stop. I ordered the falafel salad, comes with greens, cucumber, tomato, onion mix, pickles tossed in a dressing topped with some hummus, tahini and shug sauces on the side for me. Four falafel pieces (not even falafel balls) so lightly bigger than usual places. They tasted fresh and really moist. I was satisfied, all under $10. Most other places cost more than this. I will be returning!

Delicious Middle Eastern eatery serving many known regional dishes. Food is prepared on order, and so is fresh and delicious. Great place to drop by for a quick afternoon bite.

Love Middle-eastern food. This establishment will not be one I return. Subpar. Better to go to Taco Bell and take your chances.
