For sure, spiciness is on point, like so few carts can pull off. But this chicken and gyro have flavor and the rice and white sauce go well together. This cart has developed into a four-man operation but doesn't rest on their laurels of popularity and still puts out a good product. The plate comes w/ greens, tomatoes, pickles and fries, hot sauce was nice and kicky. Great option in the neighborhood for halal.

Fantastic halal food cart!!! Such massive portion and affordability - under $10 for almost a full plate of chicken (see photos, taken from 2 different days). They take Apple Pay and cards too. The POS machine/Stripe does not even automatically prompt for tips.
I personally appreciate how this is one of the very few halal carts that make the request for spiciness actually spicy enough. Maybe the best street chicken over rice at this given moment in NYC?

10/10 food quality and flavor. I paid $10 for a plate and the portion was just right for me. I love that they add jalapeños in the salad that comes with the chicken over rice platter. It definitely makes them stand out from other trucks. This will be my new go to lunch spot before I go to class. Thank you again!

I would like to start by saying, these guys are amazing. Being a student nearby I stop by pretty often. The Service is amazing, they are nice and professional. Ordering food takes no time at all and the wait time even when busy is better than any fast-food restaurant. I would also like to say that they accept most types of payment from contactless to cash. Food is made to order and is well portioned for the price, with most items being around 9-10$. Food is awesome and tastes very well. Overall, I would go here highly recommend Mido's if you fast and delicious food.
