I was so excited to find a rice bowl place near NYU campus but the food was not very fresh :( Too much for me to spend on mediocre food.

(Overall: F) - Unfortunately, the only thing mighty about the bowl I ordered yesterday was that it was a mighty disappointment. I ordered the custom beef bowl yesterday, and while I was initially pleased by the quantity of meat, I was quickly saddened by the fact that the beef had been poorly grilled such that it had acquired an unpleasant burnt exterior as opposed to a crispy char flavor -- further, the beef was dull, dry, and lacking in seasoning. Pairing with the beef, I opted for the "chinese broccoli and mushrooms" vegetable option and was served bok choy instead, which was honestly an ironic metaphor for my feelings toward this establishment -- while they attempt to pay homage to Asian flavors in a fast casual setting, it felt not only inauthentic but also disrespectful to the underlying cultures as the options honestly seemed like someone randomly threw a bunch of Asian-like ingredients onto a menu without taking the time to understand them properly and then picked the things that *appear* to fit best for some selection of food regions, resulting in pure fusion confusion. Asian fast casual has the potential to work (look at Sushirrito as a successful example), but the ideas need to be better rooted. -- Food: -2 Presentation: E Price: E Atmosphere: -1 Service: E Menu: -2 Overall: -5 F Insta/Beli: @amei_eats

I decided to opt for a make your own bowl from Mighty, and the food was average, nothing too great. I decided to go with Brown Rice Bowl, added scallions, crispy garlic, bean sprouts and tofu in the bowl topped with Ghonchu jang sauce. They have very few seating spaces and it is usually pick up spot for a lot of working professionals in the SoHo area. P.S. The road where Mighty Bowl is located is undergoing construction so there is a bit of noise in this neighborhood

Good serving size. I'm big guy, big bowl filled me up, small bowl is plenty for most. Simple menu, great variation still, good sauces. Very satisfied. Cute spot. Almost missed the entrance. Hole in the wall.Vegetarian options: Big yum, big good!

Decided to go here on Wednesday, December 8. Created my bowl and paid about $17 for it. Mixed everything up in my bowl, however, while eating, I found the pork belly to be very dry plus not enough sauce was put in. I ended up finishing 75% of it as I was hungry. My friend created his own bowl as well and he told me that the chicken was dry as well. I do not know all the protein options are like this, but sad to say that, I won’t be back. I thought this spot had potential as it was a 4.0 on Yelp & 4.3 on Google, but I was wrong.

i go to school by here at NYU and stopped by to pick up a quick dinner before class. I got the shanghai with quinoa and it was fine. i'm not sure what was wrong with the sauce, or if that's how it's supposed to be, but it was sour? it was unlike any other chinese beef dish i've had so i'm not sure if i just went on a bad night or what but if i go back, i def would not opt for the sauce that bowl came with. from the reviews, it seems like they do have good bowls but i don't necessarily think i'll be back here. maybe if i'm in a pinch but with so many other fast casual spots around - though not asian - you have better options imo.

Good casual place for a quick bowl. They have lots of pre-made bowls inspired by different countries, or you can make your own bowl. My go-to is the Tokyo Bowl, which is consistently pretty good. I have also tried the Manila Bowl, which I do not recommend because the crispy pork belly was pretty dry. Perhaps if you go during a more popular time the ingredients are more fresh.Pretty good portion size for the price! And a larger bowl is not too much more expensive. The service is very fast, and there are a few tables inside to sit at.

One of the better priced options in the area. Service was quick and friendly and that's all I can ask for during lunch rush. I got the Tokyo bowl which was a hefty size IMO. Not quite two servings but definitely left me more than full!

My coworkers rave about this hole in the wall. The restaurant is fast causal and does have seating available. I ordered the chicken Bangkok. I thought it was going to be chicken breast but, it was chicken thigh. Personally, I am not a fan of chicken thigh. They did give a good portion of meat, grain, and veggie. The bowl reminded me of a deconstructed banh-mi. I do wish that they gave more sauce with the meat. I had ordered my bowl before coming but it wasn't prepared even though they weren't super busy. It did take the guy a few minutes to get it ready so, I didn't have to wait too long.

This place is INCREDIBLY underrated, the food is flavorful, healthy, and is a great value. They didn’t skimp on the protein, it’s just all around a great option for a quick, fast casual meal. I wouldn’t come here to sit down for a shared meal, but a great grab and go option.

During the week I am a fan of these quick healthy salad/bowl spots and as soon as I heard of the concept at MIGHTY bowl i knew i had to tey. opted for the Bangkok bowl which honestly didn't hit as much as I would have liked. like some of the other reviews mentioned, the egg was WAY too underdone. i genuinely thought it was a sauce when i first scooped it into my fork. aside from that, there were just too many strong flavors that overpowered the greens. maybe rice is a better option here? either way, i think the dressings should be packaged on the side. Huge benefit was that it was quick though!

Fast casual food. I ordered the Manila bowl with pork belly. It was made in a few minutes. Flavor was good, but the pork belly wasn't what I was expecting. The pork belly is more like crispy toppings. Portions are good size and you get your protein, carbs, and veggies. I'd come back to try some of their other bowls!

Great place for modern Asian-inspired fast food. It's been a while since I've been there, but I remember the service was always fast and the sauces were flavorful. Very convenient and close to NYU for a quick lunch. Portions are not huge, but definitely decent-sized and on the generous side.
