Used to love this place, sooo good. Seems they must have closed sometime in the past two weeks since I last ate there.

Food is delicious. Manila over salad with extra pork belly - super fatty and crispy. Love. Sauce is tangy and not sweet. Great for lo carb. Penang chicken was also great with a bit more sweetness and a kick.

You have to wonder: is Mighty Bowl a place that makes you think you're eating healthy, when it's not really all that? My normal lunch would be a make-your-own with brown rice and chicken, cucumber salad, crispy garlic, and bean sprouts, miso BBQ. Sounds good, tastes great. For real? I don't know, and part of me doesn't want to know. For now, it's replaced Chipotle (where I'd normally order a burrito bowl w/brown rice, black beans, chicken, cheese (not queso) and lettuce) as my local treat yo'self, and until someone proves otherwise, I'm a repeat customer.

First time ordering from Mighty Bowl though I've passed their storefront many times. The order came quickly despite the treacherous rain. I was excited to see an eatery reflect some Filipino cuisine here in the UWS. I ordered a custom bowl with their crispy pork belly, garlic fries rice (exclusively offered until 4pm on weekdays) with veggies. Their take on the crispy pork belly is very much Filipino style. It came in chopped fatty pieces and very, very fried unlike what you might see in typical Japanese or other Asian fare in the city. (Similar texture to lechón kawali or crispy pata. Google these for reference). I must say it's not for everyone but look at the photos and other reviews and give it a try!Portions are generous and price is typical for UWS custom bowls, about $15 (with added garlic rice and avocado for $1.50 each). The Thai tea is canned which at $2.50 I don't mind at all, FOCO brand which I enjoy). Looking forward to my next order!

Their website took my order and my money even though they weren't prepared to make it. Other people who were waiting outside who arrived before closing time said they would not take their order. The guy at the shop wasn't able to show me how to request a refund on the website or offer me a refund in store. So basically they took my money and I left with nothing to show for it. They could very easily set their system to not accept orders in the last 15 minutes of the day. Either that or train their staff not to close down so early that it impacts business. 2 because the food is decent but I'm not coming again after this.

Not really what it used to be... seems to be a bunch of potheads that can only cook (kind of) cause they got the munchies.

One of my local favorites on UWS. Healthy and delicious! Delivery is very fast through DoorDash.

A solid option for the pandemic! We had a great DoorDash experience with mighty bowl and will order from them again! Food travels well

Solid takeout in the age of COVID. Great portions, great service, but the food can be kind of hit or miss. It's all about the crispy pork belly, which is crispy, somehow not too fatty, and difficult to replicate at home. Especially when dressed with gochujang, especially exciting to eat! Meanwhile, lackluster was the grilled chicken that I accidentally ordered (even though the Manila bowl description mentions pork belly, the online order defaulted to the alternate protein order; I take partial blame, but still!). It was drowned in overly sweet teriyaki sauce. One of our poached eggs burst before we could it eat it. The other was kind of undercooked and burst upon a light tap, so even though maybe you can blame me, I think it was probably broken before I received the package. The cucumber salad ends up a little floppy in its dressing. The sauteed mushrooms are mushy in their own juices though still retain their intense flavor. The chinese broccoli is fine, though the thick stalks are undercooked relative to the leaves.

I was so excited to finally try Mighty Bowl for dinner tonight but unfortunately that won't be happening. I placed an order with special instructions to hold the chicken, as I am vegetarian, and the bowl arrived with loads of chicken. I called the restaurant repeatedly but there was no answer- just a recording saying that their voicemail was not set up. I am so bummed because I was really looking forward to trying Mighty Bowl. I probably won't bother giving them another shot...with NYC in its current state online ordering is our only option right now, and if I can't trust that they'll read the instructions it's not worth it.
