Local neighborhood japanese restaurant with cool, modern decor. The special sushi rolls were great. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the restaurant is conveniently located next to the subways and bus stops. Great for a date night and they are also very popular for take out. I highly recommend Mikado.
Solid happy hour! Definitely get the tacos!
The cocktails are strong and if you’re Asian, drink Pepcid. Don’t get the unagi because you cannot taste the eel and they use teriyaki sauce instead of actual unagi sauce so it ruins the flavor.

I arrived right before the Happy Hour ended, so I was able to try their “Sushi Tacos,” and they were surprisingly delicious! It felt shockingly good for the price!
I also ordered the Sweet Shrimp from the Nigiri menu and wow… such a buttery texture, and it was truly a journey of flavor!
