I’m here after perusing nearby BO’s Bagels’ many pissed-off reviews about their service and wait time.
I used to come to Mike’s once every 1-2 weeks as a grad student looking for some affordable grub. The workers were always friendly and efficient. Sure, I would have loved an even cheaper bagel, but alas, we are in Manhattan - even if it is uptown.
The reviews that ask for things they don’t serve and then get mad, hilarious. May we all be so bold when it’s needed (and deserved) most.

It is quite disappointing that I will no longer be visiting Mike's bagel. My order is consistently the same: a well-toasted bagel with butter. Yet, they always manage to get it wrong. For the $2.18 per bagel with butter, one would expect to enjoy it rather than feel let down consistently.
