The sliders are back!!!! Great food with great service - what more could you want.
Loved trying their food! The service was very nice :)
The owner is the friendliest and most helpful person. His sliders are so juicy and flavorful. My friend is vegan and loved the eggplant parm so much she ate it so fast I couldn't even try it. Do yourself a favor and try it out!
Food is great and the owners are some the nicest people ever. Perfect spot when you want some quick and easy Italian comfort food
I had the absolute pleasure of visiting Mikey’s & got to experience the rice balls & slider set (I went spicy vodka & traditional chicken parm). Let me tell you!!!! this is comfort food at its best with a side of great human running it. I’ll be returning to try to work my way through the menu early & often!
Mikey Pomodoro is surrounded by incredible food options and still manages to blow them all out of the water. I ordered three different sliders and some rice balls, and it was enough food for two as well as very reasonably priced for the midtown lunch crowd. I got to chat with the eponymous Mikey for a little while and he’s a great guy. If I worked in Manhattan I’d probably wear out my welcome eating lunch there so often. Can’t wait to go back!
I saw Mikey’s delicious dishes on twitter and when I had a work trip to NYC, his restaurant was at the top of my itinerary. With how hyped people made his food seem, I was slightly worried it would underwhelm. Instead, it’s a top 5 meal of my life and I dream of it often. If you are in NYC and you don’t go enjoy Mikey’s incredible cooking… what are you doing?!
Some of the best food I’ve ever eaten. We couldn’t decide what we wanted to order so we told him to just bring stuff out. Everything was amazing, the fried grilled cheese was so good I haven’t stopped thinking about it since.
It really is "elevated Italian comfort food". The chicken parm slider was really solid, the vodka slider was just as excellent with just a bit more spice, the meatball slider is really amped up with the creamy ricotta. My gf and my favorite slider though was the picatta. Perfect crunch on the outside and a super juicy little beast of a bite. The rice balls are like a decadent risotto mozzarella stick and the salad was perfect especially with the cheese we got on top. The lunch special is a very fair deal for what you are getting. It was so good that we ate every last morsel i even drank the little shot of vodka sauce that came with the rice balls . And surprisingly even though we felt super satisfied after neither my gf or I experienced the lethargy or discomfort that usually comes with some italian food. Idk if its the fresh ingredients or what but we just felt great all day after. Cant wait to go back. Oh and don't miss out on the special sodas.
Mikey and the team catered a full lunch for my company and I'm still hearing rave reviews from my whole team. Chikky parms sliders and vegan options, something for everyone! Make sure you call Mikey Pomodoro for your next office lunch.

The sliders are amazing and the service is so friendly! Definitely going back to try one of everything
Amazing place, went for dinner and had 3 sliders, the chicken parma was fantastic. Service was ace and Mikey even came to talk to us about the area and gave really good advise on the city and places to visit away from standard attractions. 100% recommended!!
These guys know what’s they’re doing; great quality food quickly; the Corrozza and everything I had was fantastic; the meatballs were another level; best I’ve ever had.
The chicken parm sliders are the top of the menu, but the meatball hero is the real gem of this place. Friendly and fantastic food.
I must have had an unlucky experience, based on everything else I’m reading. I went here once during lunch break and order the eggplant parm. The sauce was really good and lots of it. But unfortunately the eggplant was hard and probably a little too thick. You shouldn’t have to bite into an eggplant and have it be chewy like that.Maybe I’ll try something else because the reviews are so good. But this wasn’t a good first impression for me. Sorry.
