One of our local favorites. Great special offers, great poutine and great matzoh ball soup. Love the pancakes too. Delivered when we accidentally ordered pickup!

Overall a good sandwhich, but extremely overpriced for the portion at $19+ and an additional $8 for fries and pickle.

So I saw their limited “Olympic poutines” on instagram and really wanted to try one of them out. I went on Uber Eats but there was no option for it so called to place the delivery instead. I was told I had to order online. When I told him there is no option for the Olympic poutines, he said to order a different one and put in the notes the one I wanted. So I did what he said and ended up getting the wrong one…the Olympic poutine was the main reason I placed the order so I was super disappointed.
I wouldn’t have minded if the food was good but the spicy schnitzel sandwich I got was so disappointing. The Schnitzel was nice and crispy, but had ZERO flavor. I felt like I was eating a tomato, lettuce sandwich on a hard dry brioche..it needed more sauce or something to add flavor and moisture to it. Even the pickle couldn’t salvage it, it wasn’t a vinegar brine pickle that I was expecting but more like a plain salted cucumber. It seems like everything just needed more salt and flavors.

This is hands down the best chicken salad sandwich i've ever had in my life! Everything about it is so perfectly balanced, the perfectly toasted bread to chicken salad ratio, the crispy chicken skin for an extra crunch, the amount of mayo in the chicken salad, the crunch of the veggies in it... I could go on and on.

Not to mention the owner is an absolute gem and makes you feel like family as soon as you walk in, coming here for a meal can make any bad day turn into a good one. Literally no notes i love it here

Frankly disappointing. Coming from an area that doesn’t have NY style delis, we had high hopes. But, the broth for the matzo ball and chicken noodle soup was meh. The carrots were undercooked, and the noodles tasted like they were cooked in water and dropped into the soup when ordered.
The Smoked Meat Hash had VERY little meat! 95% potatoes and overall lacked taste. Needed onions or something!
On the positive side, the Corned Beef Rueben was good, tender and flavorful. (Though I think the bread was toasted and not grilled), and the poppy seed bagel with cream cheese was tasty.
Probably wouldn’t give it a second chance.

Its a 4 star maybe. I loved our waiter so nice and nothing was a problem. We sat comfortably and never rushed. Not much of an atmosphere as its a really tiny place. The food was fine -ok but the turkey was definitely a little on the skimpy side. But in all fairness, I really didn't order the traditional food one should order there. I wasn't planning on going back but maybe I should. If I were you I'd try it and judge for yourself. Give it a go

Montreal quality poutine and Jewish deli fare if I lived nearby I'd eat there four times a week.

I had high hopes for this place. After trying Schwartz’s in Montreal and Katz’s in New York, I didn’t expect to be served supermarket-style pastrami. We ordered the smoked meat sandwich, Caesar, and poutine, and then tea and chocolate babka. Everything except the smoked meat was fine. The smoked meat itself was very disappointing, I’d probably give it one star. it’s also over priced.

Update (two days later): Since eating the smoked meat sandwich here, my husband has had an upset stomach. I don’t know how long the pastrami had been sitting, but this made the experience even more disappointing.

I was really disappointed. They promised Montreal-style deli brisket, but what I got was nothing like brisket at all. I wouldn’t recommend it at all!!!

Great atmosphere, fast service, fantastic dishes and large portions. It’s a somewhat small dining room so book ahead if possible. Great coffee, too.
