The service was fantastic
I want to be nice about it but just to be clear, how are we rationalizing $11 for a slice of cake? I was ready to dig in. I said I KNOW I’m about to have an experience and I took that first bite and said 😑 … I purchased all their flavor of cookies as well. I would never go back. For the prices in NYC and options we have, you can do so much better. I’m so sorry but to each taste palate their own. To put in perspective, I find a fresh warm batch of chocolate cookies from McDonald’s highly exceptional for the price they charge
Went here after we discovered big gay was closed for good. Everything is prepackaged and still dry. Overpriced hype… we need a better local baker.

The best Milk Bar in NYC. They’ll take care of ya
I had wanted to taste Milk's Birthday Cake for several years and didn't want to order online because I wanted a fresh slice. I arrived at the Columbus Street location yesterday and ordered it. I didn't want to wait to get back to the hotel to taste it, so we sat at the bar to try it. When I opened the box, it appeared old. The icing was separating from the cake and after tasting it, the cake was dry and appeared to have been refrigerated for some time. The cookie ball on top was hard as a rock. When I asked the guy at the counter about it, I was told they got deliveries three times a week, so it shouldn't be more than a few days old, but mine was at least a week old. Not cool at all for a $14 slice of cake.

As a once-loyal customer of Milk Bar, I am compelled to express my utter disappointment with how they’ve handled their recent promotion. At the start of the year, they proudly advertised a $1 soft serve on the 16th of every month. However, when I visited on September 16th, I was told, with no prior notice, that the promotion had ended. No official communication, no sign—nothing but a broken promise.
I reached out to their headquarters via email and received no response. I took to social media to get clarity, only to be met with complete silence. This lack of transparency and utter disregard for customer loyalty is infuriating. If Milk Bar can’t even honor a simple promotion or provide basic customer service, it speaks volumes about how they value (or rather, don’t value) their customers.
I expected much better from a brand I supported for more than a decade, but this level of disrespect is unacceptable. Milk Bar has shown that they are not interested in building or maintaining customer trust. I won’t be returning, and I strongly advise others to reconsider their loyalty as well.
Delicious, not overpriced cookie! They warm it up for you. Staff is courteous. Pleasant experience.
Kid-friendliness: Kids love it here!
