TOP QUALITY ! We stopped by here on our way to breakfast nearby to pick up a loaf of artisan sourdough bread and some macarons. VERY GOOD SERVICE ! There was a long line almost out the door yet my wife was able to give her order to a male cashier working the line with an iPad. VERY FAST ! We were out the door in 5 minutes. And all their baked goods are sensational. TOP SPOT !

Croissant pistachio is meh. I also had the croissant with jam and cheese and was ok. In general this place is ok but not amazing so if it’s close to you good if not don’t make the trip.

I love a good bakery, and i love French Bakery. Originally, i went there for a coffee date, but it was rainy that day and couldn't stay because the space is small and was crowded. The coffee was 5 out of 10. I was not that satisfied with the latte. However, the pastries were 10 out of 10. The croissants were fresh. Mille Feuille and Quiche were delicious. Besides the coffee, i will definitely go back for more pastries.

Visited on 10, 11 and 12 Nov. Service on 10 and 11 was fantastic, staff were friendly, patient and attentive. Staff taking orders on 12 Nov was rather abrasive and impatient, especially with non-English speakers, which is ironic for a cafe mainly serving international guests from the hotel.
Pumpkin bread, quiches were great. Quiche disintegrated after heating (which staff gave warning about) but it was delicious. Cinnamon roll, lemon, and carrot cake were ok. Good coffee.

The croissants taste like I'm in Paris. The layers and flavor of the dough are so much better than your typical dense American pastry. The chocolate royal was chef's kiss, rich decadent. Can't wait to try more items!

Not only is the bakery and cafe offering delicious pastries, bread and coffee, but the staff at the 77th St and Broadway location were unusually efficient and cordial despite the huge crowd for the marathon
We love a good bakery and this one was within close walking distance from where we were staying.
There was a line of extending into the connecting hotel, which moved fairly well. Their checkout and ordering system is a bit chaotic though, as they have someone with a tablet taking orders in line, while people are also taking orders at the counter.
As for the pastries, they are good. The croissant was fresh and the carrot cake was ok. The Mille-feuille itself was good but a bit messy to eat without silverware (non are available).
All in all, it was an ok bakery with some good options.

The best French bakery in New York, high-quality coffee, French-quality pastries and viennoiseries, I highly recommend it.

The croissant did not hold up well by 1:30 pm from its early morning baking. Was $12 worth coffee and a croissant? Maybe for Manhattan, but is the overall experience worth 4.7 stars? IMHO, no.

We spent a week in NY and the Mille-Feuille Bakery was one of our favorite breakfast locations. We felt very welcome. The pistachio croissant was really great. The Ispahan Macarons were like the Macarons of Pierre Hermé. We just can say Merci :-)

After playing tennis uptown I wanted to stop by Mille-feuille bakery as a treat!!! I made it around 4pm just before closing time of 5pm. I expected there to be few options only because it’s within the hour of their closing time. But to my surprise they were fully stocked of quite a few pastry options!!!
Since I couldn’t decide on just one I bought three. One brownie, one lemon loaf slice and one carrot cake loaf slice.
The brownie was fantastic. Light and semi crumbly but so flavorful!!!
The carrot cake slice was delicious. Moist and the icing was the best part!!
The lemon cake slice is my bf’s so no review on that but if I had to guess it’s amazing!!
If you’re in the neighborhood do yourself a favor and stop by and grab yourself some goodies to stay or to go. You’ll be a fan!!
