I tried the preserved egg congee and the meat they use shows this is not an authentic Chinese congee place. I also had ham and egg sandwich, and it’s pretty normal. Not worth going here again.
As prices continue to skyrocket and everyone continues to try to make ends meet, Mings Cafe is one of those places NYC is still lucky to have. I have gone to this location multiple times for my favorite fish balls and noodles dish, and I have never gotten tired of it. The owner is great, there is indoor and outdoor seating, and the best part is the super CHEAP pricing and large menu with multiple options for food, drinks, dim sum, you name it. This is one of those restaurants that needs to stick around and keep Chinatown's true culture intact. Support small businesses like Mings Cafe!!
I had there mango pineapple smoothie and beef satay only $8.70 for both smoothies are $4
First of all they are NOT cash only, they take venmo as well. I read a review about the tofu vegan curry noodles and ordered it. It was absolutely delicious. It’ll be my new obsession for sure. Also the beef chow mein was a little under seasoned but very fresh.
One of the best 乾炒牛河 beef stir fried noodles I’ve ever had.
Small restaurant with big taste. Comfy for close friends, and secluded for private meetings with a loved one. The food is prepared sweet and sour, with alittle fiery flavor. Go! And enjoy.
Amazing vegan / vegetarian curry tofu noodles!!! Love this place. They have all the classic hong kong drinks & food!
Good food and very friendly staff.
I stopped by here for a quick lunch. I ordered the fish with ginger and scallion over rice as well as bubble tea here. The owner was friendly and I was able to dine in at the restaurant. The fish dish was great and fresh. The portion was decent and price was reasonable I think. The bubble tea was not the best, and I think could be improved. Overall would recommend this place.
Love it! Will definitely visit again.

Not sure if he is the owner or worker but he was fantastic, the food was delicious and very reasonably, My daughter my sister and myself had breakfast here and our bill was less than $40 and we left stuff. I was introduced to milk tea and can’t get enough of it. This Georgia Peach will definitely return and hopefully soon, We’ll worth the visit at Ming’s Cafe
Beef chow fun was decent I guess
Overall: Convenient place for all meals of the day. They have small plates and big plates and beverages (coffee/tea/smoothies). Adequate amount of seating and food is tasty! Casual place to eat.Price: $, honest pricesService: staff is friendly and accommodating
My co-worker and I came here for the first time a couple of weeks ago and now this has become our favorite spot. It is very affordable and the workers here are very friendly and attentive. It's not just about the food which makes me want to come back to eat. Its their welcoming presence. Thank you Ming's!
If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would. The service was amazing, the food is cheap with good portions and their bubble tea was very tasty. I will definitely be back. Thank you Ming’s!
