Cute, yummy, and cozy! Mint Masala is one of my regular go-to restaurants in the area. The different curries are creamy and delicious, and they can adjust the level of spiciness to your needs. Their vegetable samosas are great and their lentil soup is perfect for a winter day. They have a vegetarian section and other options that can be made vegetarian. It’s a small spot, so I recommend checking in before heading there!

From the beginning the experience was amazing. My brother and I were there for the first time and the food was incredible! We had the Chicken 65 which had the perfect balance of spice, crunch and flavor. The Chicken Tikka Masala was some of the best we’ve had. The Malai Chicken Tikka was cooked to perfection. So tender and juicy and the green chili paste was full of flavor. We also tried the Chicken Zafrani. Boasting with spices and flavors. Super creamy gravy. The garlic Naan bread was delicious! To end it, we had a perfect sized rice pudding! 5 out of 5 for me! Can’t wait to go back!

After few months we want to say thank you to the people working in this cute Indian restaurant. My son and I, on a very hot day of June, were looking for a bathroom. Mint masala was the only place in the area that allowed us to use their restrooms (all the other businesses near by were very not welcoming and did not make us enter for the emergency we had) and at the end they even gave us two bottle of free water. We didn’t eat there but the food looked great. Being nice and kind, smiling and helping people deserve to be take into consideration more everywhere in the world. Thanks again, when back in NYC we will definitely come to your place to eat. Valentina and Tommaso

I have had lunch here a few times and thought it was OK for a neighborhood place. Not special but decent. It really depends what you order though. The chicken tikka masala today was basically just chicken in a tomato sauce with hardly any spices or taste of Indian food. Not sure I will eat here again. In NYC there are so many better options.
