Chanced upon this restaurant in Greenwich village and the food and service were very good. Our server was very engaging and also went out of her way to accommodate some extras for my 10 year old.

We have eaten in MANY Indian restaurants and this rates highly with us! The Pakora were delicious, crispy with spinach and the usual Coriander and sweet Tamarind sauces. We both had vegetarian curries: Mattar Paneer and Vegetable Jalfrezi - just piquant and delectable. My husband always has a Mango Lassi and he said his was one of the best he’d had - creamy but nOT too sweet. Mostly we LOVED our sweet and oh, so intelligent wait person from BHUTAN in the Himalayas. What a delightful person he is. We learned so much about his beloved homeland. The young manager even took the time to print me out the names of the Indian singers we so enjoyed listening to. They were WAY better than the usual Bollywood fun but kind of “vacuous” musical fare. We highly recommend this little place. Oh, the bathroom is through the kitchen, BUT it was actually GREAT to see how clean and organized it was, and the two chefs were so friendly too! Go TRY IT TODAY!

We love to order from Mint Masala, our preferred neighborhood Indian restaurant. The Navratan Korma and Chicken Tikka Masala are delicious.

They steal your money……
The food is okay but they are cheaters and their staff try to steal your money to get them paid TIP.
The Nepali girl charged 20% tip from our total bill without our information and when I asked her to give me invoice she first try to avoid it but then I asked again she bring the bill and in that I saw they charged 20% Tip, this is ridiculous and fraud that they are doing.
As per her we were 4 people so she charged 20% Tip and she didn’t informed us.
Please be aware if you are going there then make sure you check you bill before making the payment.
Very unprofessional and bad service.
