The restaurant was close the 31 december 9pm!!!! We have receved a confirmation !!! Zero, zero, zero
I wouldn't know, because despite confirming the reservation twice, when I arrived with my BUSINESS GUESTS the restaurant was closed. I was extremely irritated and embarrassed, and had to find another decent spot close by immediately, which involved another ten minutes of walking. Nothing from the restaurant then or since. Never again.
I made a reservation for four on Open Table at Miramar at 6 PM on Tuesday December 27 during the holiday season. The restaurant was completely closed down when we arrived, and we had to walk around in the cold looking for another restaurant.
We made a trip into Manhattan to specifically have lunch here only to arrive at the restaurant and see it completely dark and locked up. We went next door and asked a doorman what was going on and he said that it's been closed for over a month. Take it off your reservation site!!
The Restuarant was closed for business when I arrived . Very embarrassing when my guests arrived,
Not open! May be a great restaurant, but call first. We made a reservation on Open Table, and the website says open. We went Thanksgiving weekend 2022 and it had been closed completely for about 1 month.
The restaurant accepted my reservation but was closed when I arrived with a guest. This is not acceptable.
I would really like to rate my experience. But, we made reservations, took a $50 Uber ride from Astoria only to find out they were not open. Their website said they were open and my reservations were accepted. Really disappointed.

We went to Miramar from our reservation and it was closed!! Traveled all the way there with a party of 9 including out of town guests. Hugely disappointing

Bar was loud and obnoxioius. The food was alright. My wife's shrimp in her seafood linguine was very over cooked. Decent atmosphere, but with the quality of the food and wine versus the price, probably wouldn't go there again. If it wasn't so cold, might have tried to sit outside to take in the nice view for the location.
We are visiting relatives and found this gem! The food is absolutely delicious, staff was knowledgeable and extremely courteous. Great experience if you are in the Battery park area! This is a must try!
We came by the Miramar after a morning at the 9-11 Memorial and a walk down to and along from Battery Park. Really good piece of halibut from the catch of the day for one and exquisite scallops for the other. Sunny day by the Hudson so sat outside with views of Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and New Jersey.
We ordered mussels in red sauce and fish&chips. The sauce strongly resembled a bolognese and one of the mussels was closed and its shell was broken. I had mussels here before and they were excellent. Something must have changed since last time. The chips were bland and the tartar sauce that came with the fish was very sour and inedible. The fish was okay, a bit salty. Two mains and two drinks plus tax and tips were about $80. The location and the outdoor seating are amazing, but the food does not meet expectations. I am recommending only because of the location. Maybe other menu items are better.
Miramar is one of our favorite go-to restaurants in the neighborhood, especially in the summer when you can sit outside and enjoy the view, the boats, and the sunsets. The food is consistently good and the people who work there are always warm and welcoming. Last night we were there to celebrate our friend's birthday - it was his first time at Miramar but I'm pretty sure it won't be his last. Thanks again, everybody, for another beautiful evening!
