I used to come here for special meals while in school and stopped going when I moved. Tonight was the first time in 6+ years, and it's as amazing as I remember. The mame miso broth is slightly bitter and complex and pairs very well with the pork and fried shrimp topping.
I also think the karaage is some of the best.

Great place for ramen. Been coming here for the last 7 years. Always good.

Decent ramen. I should've gotten something with more flavor tho, like the chicken katsu curry ramen. the shio broth is a bit too light for me. We had a whole fiasco fighting for the bill and ended up causing a bit of a scene. Luckily, we ended up paying for our friend - we were the ones taking him out anyway. All's well that ends well.

The ramen was pretty reasonably priced and tasted fine. I wasn’t a fan of the fried chicken though because of the smoky taste it had. I wouldn’t be back since I had a bad experience due to the waitress’ attitude towards our table.

Casual vibe and BIG FLAVOR. The miso broth is full umami and addictive. I recommend the spicy kome broth. Lots of vegetarian options. Best ramen I’ve tried in NYC. A pleasant surprise for this unsuspecting lil spot.

The food was good, but I gotta complain about the small table that was also wobbly. The atmosphere was ok-ish and somewhat cozy. I'm going to try again maybe with bigger group to see if it's any better. Hopefully this time I won't have to see a couple making out while trying to eat food.

Lots of vegetarian options here! Very yummy miso broths (recommend the white miso). Came on a Saturday around noon and had no wait. Will definitely come again
food was mid and broth was salty, the waiter was not only rude but dirty we literally heard him clipping his finger nails mid serving… and he kept scratching his back 🤮

Place is ok, is very small so there is limited sitting. The food in the other hand was great and the Chicken curry Ramen was delicious. At their 2nd Ave location unfortunately we found a roach behind a friend. As unfortunate as that sound personal didn’t seem to care about it. I was not expecting anything for free but at least some consideration. After this, we felt rushed out and we didn’t really like that.

A hidden gem for good ramen with reasonable price. Different kinds of miso-based soup.
🍜❤️❤️The Mame ramen I got was more on the salty side. The soup was really flavorful with deep tastes and layers. Chashu was good, tempura shrimp was good too.
Kome ramen was more on the sweet side which is a classic Hokkaido style with butter taste and corn as topping. This one is slightly lighter.
