One of my favorite restaurants in SOHO. Their J*** Chiken feast was delicious. Sauce was not too spicy, but flavorful and tender. The watermelon salad was unique and addicting. Their homemade Ginger beer was great.

I have been here twice and their food is made with love. If you have read some of my other restaurant reviews, you know I had the salmon lol. As usual it was amazing, it comes with this amazing sauce and veggies. The restaurant is small but decent size, they play nice reggae tunes at a good volume without blasting it. Besides indoor seating there's also front outdoor seating. If it's cold out and your not vaccinated, you will have to sit outside. The waiter was really nice and attentive.

Went to this place with my friends because according to a TikTok, it was one of Bella Hadid's favorite places in New York. It did not disappoint. I ordered the j*** chicken burrito and the flavors just melted in my mouth. The portions are large, but the food was so delicious that I finished my entire plate. My friend ordered the j*** chicken and the meat was so tender that it literally fell off the bone. Amazing! The restaurant itself is very cute. It has both outdoor and indoor dining areas. The inside reminded me of a retro 80's diner. There was no wait when I went on a Saturday afternoon and we were seated immediately. The customer service was excellent.

Oh man, Miss Lily's is doing EVERYTHING right! I visited the Soho location and made a reservation online a week before. Since my family and I were finished with out activities for the day, I called Miss Lily's an hour and a half before our reservation time to ask if it was okay to come early and they were able to accommodate. If you're looking for endless vibes, good music and tasty food/drinks this is your place! We started off with some apps; the codfish fritters and the hot pepper shrimp. Both we're really good especially with the sauces. For drinks, I ordered a ginger beer, my sister ordered the pure passion margarita and my cousin ordered the duty wine sangria. Drinks were delish especially the pure passion. For our entrees, I had to get the vegetable roti which was AMAZING! My sister ordered the same thing with a side of mac and cheese. My cousin ordered the j*** chicken with rice and peas and j*** french fries. Our food was phenomenal!Towards the end of our dinner, a DJ arrived playing the jams! These are the types of spot that make NYC. I loved my experience at Miss Lily’s and I can't wait to come back!

I've only been wanting to come here for ages! It's usually popppin for brunch and dinner so I was happy to gotten a seat right away. The atmosphere inside is kinda like an old school diner with a carribean touch, it's lovely. The service is good too, they were super quick and helpful. We ordered the: Spicy grilled shrimp app: - tons of flavor, and loaded with sauce. It is pretty spicy, like back of the throat spicy so just be aware of that. I wish they gave more shrimp thoooo! J*** chicken: - huugeee portion, gave me damn near half the chicken! It literally came off the bone, i didnt need the knife to eat it. It was delicious, juicy, all that. There is a sauce drenched on it so you're not really getting a true j*** kick -- so maybe ask for the sauce on the side? It comes w rice+peas, and veggies to pair the chicken together. Salmon: - Nothing life changing, just a really good cooked salmon! Overall, i liked this place and would want to try other items too! The drinks were strong and tasty as well, I would def come back :)

It was my first time in New York and my niece recommended my wife and I go to miss Lilly's. I love reggae and Caribbean food so I knew we'd love this spot. My wife is vegetarian and got the j*** corn and West Indian curry vegetable roti. She loves every last bite of it. I got the j*** chicken and it was delicious. Lots of cool reggae record covers on the wall and the staff was super friendly and helpful.

I am so happy I finally got to try Miss Lily's! We made reservations on a Wednesday at 7PM but called ahead and were able to come in a bit earlier. We were immediately sat down since it was not too crowded and the menu was provided through a QR code. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, the music is a straight vibe and the food & drinks are outstanding! ____ FOOD: -West Indian Curry Vegetable Roti (traditional vegetable curry stew with pumpkin, potatoes, collard greens and chickpeas served in roti bread with rice and peas) -Mac and Cheese Pie -Jerk French Fries DRINKS: -Dutty Wine (jamaican red sangria) -Pure Passion (soju, triple orange, lime, passion fruit, j*** salt) -Homemade Ginger Beer ____ Starting off with the drinks, Miss Lily's has a creative selection of cocktails and seasonal drinks. I was stuck between ordering a few different drinks because they all sounded great but I am so happy I ended up ordering the Pure Passion. Seriously, if you stop by Miss Lily's and you drink, please order this drink. It's absolutely one of the Top 3 drinks I've had in all of 2021. Almost similar to a spicy margarita, the Pure Passion drink is a 10/10 and a few of those will definitely be hitting! Moving onto my meal, I dug into the West Indian Curry Vegetable Roti and it was absolutely delicious. The flavors were addicting and they gave a wonderful portion. I split mine in half and enjoyed the other half as leftovers later that night and it heated up perfectly. I also tried the rice and peas through my cousin's dish and it was tasty with the vegetable curry. I recommend ordering some on the side! The mac & cheese pie was also very good and cheesy! It came out pipping hot with the most perfect cheese crust. I took my leftover mac and cheese home too and it heated up well too. Lastly, the french fries with j*** seasoning were crispy and seasoned to perfection. Not too salty with a nice spice to the point where they didn't even need ketchup. Overall, I had an excelled experience at Miss Lily's and will definitely be adding this location to my Food Series. Great staff, dope DJ's, amazing drinks and delicious cuisine! Can't wait to stop by again soon!

Good vibe. Good music. Good food. Make note this location doesn't serve liqour like the 7a location. The have rice wine cocktails which were tasty. Food was delicious. I recommend asking for the hot sauce. Oh and the cod fish fritters with curry sauce too. Will be back.

The food here was delicious. I want to definitely go back and try more menu items. I also loved the vibes. Great DJ and lots of melanin! I love that this black owned business is thriving. It was a fun time. Will be returning.

Food was BOMB! I’m not too sure if I’m spelling her name right but Gwynn was our server - beautiful and kind, she helped us Toronto folks with other local spots to try out. Music, food and staff were all amazing! The chef came over to our table to make sure everything was good, he was so sweet- Can’t wait to come back! The shrimp, oxtail and Mac/cheese pie - sooo yummy

I do love me some dinner for breakfast! Walking into Miss Lily's on Houston I felt as if I was in Jamaica, based on the decor and reggae music playing throughout the restaurant. The vibe here was everything. They have outdoor and indoor seating and can host larger groups in the back. Perfect for a birthday party or just grabbing something to eat. And I had my favorite, dinner for breakfast/brunch with unlimited dranks! Whatever you get ask for a side of oxtail gravy. It taste sooo good I'd literally put it on everything. We tried: -Oxtail and rice and peas -Chicken Roti -Punch I want to go back to try their muscles.
