Disappointing Bibimbap - mostly just white rice, very few vegetables, accompaniments were shared, no egg or other flavour to the dish. Had much much better in the city.

Authentic Korean food. A family run business that makes you travel and feel at home at the same time. Fully recommended 🌟

Very delicious food and kind servers. Jjapchae, kimchi pancake, bibjmbap and chicken katsu all tasted excellent.
Great food that wasn't overpriced and very nice service! Got the galbitang that was great quality meat.

The restaurant has a nice aesthetic and cozy atmosphere, but the overall experience left a lot to be desired.
First, the menu pricing was confusing — instead of adjusting the listed prices, they add a small asterisk with fine print noting an upcharge. It’s easy to miss and makes the final bill feel a bit misleading.
Second, the staff refused to split our check over a small credit-card fee. Most places treat that as part of doing business, so this came across as unnecessarily inconvenient and last-minute.
As for the food, it was underwhelming. The japchae (glass noodles) looked and tasted like it had been reheated, and the tofu soup broth seemed like it came from a premade mix rather than cooked fresh. The presentation was fine, but the flavors and authenticity didn’t match the premium prices — my $15 noodle dish and a $20 tofu soup ended up costing closer to $24 after the hidden upcharge.
Overall, it’s a visually charming spot that photographs well, but between the pricing tricks, average food quality, and lack of transparency, it feels more like a place prioritizing aesthetics over substance.

Reminded me of my grandma dishes.. it’s really authentic.
It was a bit disappointing that the galbitang broth filled less than half of the bowl, and the galbi lunch box came with only four pieces of ribs

Mista Oh is such a great find! The food is flavorful, fresh, and perfectly seasoned — the bulgogi and kimchi fried rice were both amazing. Everything tastes homemade and comforting, with that perfect Korean spice kick. The staff are super friendly and quick, and the vibe is casual but stylish. Great spot for a tasty lunch or a cozy dinner in Flatiron! 🍱🔥🇰🇷

Delicious food and wonderful service. Portions of the galbi was wonderful. I felt like I was having a balanced meal (plus side was that it was presented in the plate method). Seafood pancake? Bomb. Service? Absolutely wonderful and warming. I enjoyed the kimchi. I will certainly be back.

I’m Korean and this restaurant was one of the worst restaurants I’ve been to. Japchae came out watery and the soondubu tasted like an instant package was used. I’m confused how this spot has such good reviews. Side dishes were not good and the kimchi did not taste authentic - maybe bought from hmart. As I was leaving I also noticed their sanitary inspection was a “grade pending” which made me really regret eating here. The prices were expensive for the quality of food they serve. Will not be returning and don’t recommend.
