Idk, the person that wrote the review before me clearly knew that what she had was not japanese ramen and finished it (i saw it all happen) but was insisting that it was ‘nothing like the menu’ and bullying one of the nicest owners ive seen. Dont finish the food and be asking for refund thats so low lol anyway for me, food was by far one of the most authentic korean foods ive had in the city. Service was very warm. Everyone else was laughing when they left. Except for this person looking for japanese authenticity in a korean restaurant lmao

It was an extremely disappointing experience. The ramen displayed on the menu was completely different from reality. None of the ingredients shown on the menu were included. Instead of what was depicted in the photo on the menu, they served instant noodles. That’s a kind of customer fraud.

I ordered a kimchi Jjigae. It was really great. The staff are really friendly. The price is not that high. But since I am a student, I am really happy that they have lunch price.

We had a wonderful experience at Mista Oh. Everyone there was so kind. It felt like the same warmth and hospitality as the adults from my childhood; it was very nostalgic. Even before entering the restaurant, a waitress saw that I was waiting outside in the cold and went out of her way to come outside and invite me into the restaurant. The food was delicious! We got the soondubu jjigae, bulgogi kimchi fries, and the spicy pork lunch box. The ginger honey tea was really nice too. The restaurant wasn’t too loud and the atmosphere was perfect to catch up with a friend. The place was clean and the decor was really cute.We got to use our limited Korean skills with them and I just loved seeing the smiles on their faces. It was so heartwarming when they tried to speak with us in Japanese too! They were genuinely kindhearted people; would definitely come back. 감사합니다!

We stopped in for a relatively early dinner. The very friendly staff helped us order several appetizers and an entree that would feed our party of three. She did so with knowledge and humor. We had a bulgogi dish/entree, some fried kimchi, sweet potato noodles, and a Korean pancake. Everything tasted great, but I think we liked the bulgogi rice dish (dolsot bibimbap) best.

(Overall: B) - Overall, the staff were very kind and accommodating throughout the entire dining experience so that was very pleasant. The restaurant also seems cute and family run. However, at the end of the day, I feel like their food requires some technique to develop a complexity of flavors that work well in unison. (Banchan: C) - The Banchan was sadly not as good as other restaurants a few more blocks down -- the fish cake was surprisingly mild for the redness of it and the broccoli and potato salad followed similar trends of a lack of depth of flavor; for the potato salad in particular, I think adding some smokiness could be a good way of elevating it. (Seafood Pancake: C) - I like the concept of this seafood pancake as it was crispy on the outside yet soft on the inside. However, it is not the most well priced at $22 for a few pieces of octopus -- additionally, there were just some large heads of scallion that were not cut, which makes for a particularly unpleasant bite. (Truffle Bulgogi: C) - Initially, I could not smell or see the truffle at all so I had to investigate the source of their claim. It appears that truffle oil was used to cook the beef, which is quite a poor way to use it as it is meant to be usef as a topping. However, the staff was nice enough to add more afterwards so I could smell and taste it -- in spite of this, truffle could have the potential to work since I've seen it on cheesesteaks, however, the earthiness just does not seem to fit the profile of the delicate sweetness of the beef well so I feel indifferent whether adding or not would make it better. The cilantro and mixed greens worked well with the mayo sauce to add a nice contrast though. -- Food: E Presentation: E Price: E Atmosphere: E Service: +2 Menu: E Overall: +2 B Insta/Beli: @amei_eats

The food is so delicious and the staff are friendly! I had a hard time because I didn't like American food, but I discovered this restaurant too late. Other Korean restaurants have a fusion feel even if they serve Korean food, but this place really tastes like Korean food. If you miss Korean food in New York, be sure to go there..!????

Extremely kind service, and food are so good. I initially got wrong order from uber eats, but the owner of the store literally RAN from the restaurant to deliver me a correct menu. I just had a surgery and ordered Galbitang, and it was even better than Korea, and it was truly THE BEST GALBITANG IN NYC! The dishes I got by accident, which were doenjang jjigae and mukeunji jjim, was also very good!

Very good experience. I was by myself, si they made me sit at the bar. The food arrived quickly, almost too quickly, appetiser and main arrived together. I got the pork dumplings and the brisket bbq platter. Both very good. It's exactly how you would expect a Korean bbq restaurant
