I was drawn to this restaurant because of its beautiful flower decor and the giant dia de los muertos statues, but besides the decor the staff is so nice and attentive and the blood orange margarita was amazing! And the guacamole and cheese quesadilla was very yummy!

Very welcoming and attentive team. Restaurant is petite. Mezcalita was good as was the carne asada. Interesting unidentifiable chips with the guac which seems to be the same thing the enchilada was wrapped in.

My new favorite Mexican restaurant in Manhattan . Went here on a chilly Tuesday night and didn't have a reservation (I don't think they take them but it was no problem .) The restaurant was nice and warm inside though . The Tamarind Margarita was very tasty, my 2nd drink was a Mezcalita and that was excellent ! Perfect for a cold night in New York - definitely get one. We ordered the guacamole which came with large chips (may have been blue corn ) was very unusual but I appreciate it and would order guacamole next time I come here too. There's regular corn chips with 3 different salsa that was also good but you have to order these. There's no free chips and salsa, that said, they were tasty and I liked them. My friend got the steak and really enjoyed it. I got prawns with rice and avocado, and that was good too. We also had fish tacos appetizer which we shared. Wow! I liked the fish tacos and would recommend. We didn't get dessert because we were gonna stop for Ice cream at Il Laboratorio del Gelato on Houston and Ludlow (also a great place BTW ) Also FYI - this place is in a quiet little area just south of Houston on 6th avenue. I REALLY like this neighborhood because it's more quiet and and the night streets are kind of cool over here in my opinion. I recommend this restaurant. I had a nice time and the staff was really nice too. But they are asking for Vaccine proof and picture ID , so bring that with you. Cool spot serving Oaxaca Mexican food.

Very yummy Mexican - I think it’s Oaxacan style. I had a delicious huevos con chorizo and guacamole. Great service.

Hate to do this but ! speechless! the worst mexican food i ever had in my life ! disgusting steak tacos and the nachos even worse! smelly and oily ! expectations were high because of the recommendations but the picture was completely different! wish you guys luck ! but please do not serve canned food to a customer who spends $70+ at your place ! DO NOT SERVE THEM OILY NACHOS AND SMELLY TACOS tortillas from corner store and nachos from the bag ! DISGUSTED! DISGUSTED! DiISGUSTED! Our bill was $69 we ended up paying 50 cash plus $ 35 in card probobly extra for the oil on the bottom of the nachos or corner store tortillas! P,’.S. drinks were good !

Unfortunately very disappointed. The food was not tasty and not Mexican. It’s the first time I was given mayonnaise as a salsa for totopos. It was also the first time I was served enchiladas with chunks of chicken instead of shredded chicken. The enchilada sauce was bland. Everything tasted like from a can.Music was great.

Disappointing and overpriced for Mexican food. Motivated by the enthusiastic reviews, we had dinner there last night. Nachos were not nearly as good as those at Contenta del Oueste and more expensive. The steak was tasteless and accompanied by a few lettuce leaves and bland guacamole. When we asked for more chips, they wanted to charge us. Would not return.

Okay service. They were more interested in the soccer game than customers. Music to loud. Food just okay. Too much street noise to sit outside. Didn't like the beer I had either. Overall, nothing special. I would not go back

Had a great dining experience. The enchiladas and the Carne Asada (super juicy and flavorful) were delicious!! Also, loved how caring Sergio, the owner, was throughout the night. This is definitely the place to go with your friends if you are want to have a great time. And if you want to try delicious authentic Mexican comfort food!! Congratulations to the chef.
