I stop by here for my midday pick me up, they have excellent batido de pina and I like their ham and cheese stuffed bread. They fry the jam before they put it in so it's creamy cheese with salty, crispy ham. Only $1.50 for that so it is a good to-go meal for the 3-5 pm hunger pangs I have. Also, the people behind the counter are really sweet, always saying hello and they seem to know everyone in the neighborhood
I was looking for some Dominican bread and found this place. I ordered the pan de agua and a guava and cheese pastry. The bread was not exactly like the one you get in DR but it was pretty close and tasted good. I got 3 breads and the pastry and paid under $5, which is beyond affordable.
Gotta love this small DR bakery that serves what I believe to be the best ☕️ coffee on 145th street (bet Bdway & Amsterdam Ave’s)…
