Ordered The toasted superseed bagel (which was the only one labeled as vegan) with plain tofu schmear ( again, the only vegan option), along with an iced oat chai latte. Everything was delicious, and love to see menu items clearly labeled as vegan. Staff were also very friendly.

I wish the service was better. The food is amazing but the entire team behavior is terrible! Very hard to get a table/seat!

The food was great, I didn't choose to add cream cheese which made my bagel a bit dry. The whole menu is gluten free and there is so much choice and possibility, a must for gluten free people.

LOVE this place! Found it because they had gluten free bagels, but we didn't realize that ALL of their bagels we gluten free (GF). Everything was amazing and the staff couldn't be nicer. There is limited seating but it's worth it and it's right across the street from the 14th street subway entrance. We had bagel sandwiches and a raspberry donut. A+++++!!!!

I have been looking for the best gluten free bagels for years. Finally found it! Thank you Modern Bagel!

Best bagels and they're celiac/gluten free. The service is... Interesting. We heard a lot of personal stories we probably didn't need to. But whatever, the bagels are great.

The food is great and all very good. The cinnamon loaf is the best. The staff however at this location are not friendly. Some would say surly. It sure would be nice if one of them actually smiled and spoke nicely to a customer for a change.

Best gluten-free bagels ever! Kind and patient people in their stores… always very friendly. These bagels are better than non gluten free bagels. We are regulars. Their sweet treats and holiday specialties (e.g. Thanksgiving) are also wonderful! TEN STARS!

I got the vegan lox on vegan bagel with the vegan cream cheese with some extra topics. I was surprised how expensive it was to add things like tomato, onion and capers, what is typically standard on a lox sandwich. They asked if I wanted it toasted and, I gave my stock response, which is, “if you recommend it”. They toasted it! I’m assuming it’s because they’re gluten free, they might need to be toasted, but not sure. Anyway, I did not have high hopes for the bagel, but it was actually really good. I loved all the seeds, and it wasn’t too sweet either. I couldn’t detected any added sweetness. The lox were really good too. I will definitely be back here. My only complaint is that they wrapped it to-go and it got super messy with the melting cream cheese. I might try to get them to not wrap it next time.

The BEST gluten free bagels I’ve ever had. As a born and raised New Yorker, I haven’t been able to find good bagels down south. Especially gluten free ones. Then I heard about this company, and I am a loyal customer. I love that they ship, and fulfill my bagel cravings.

Best gluten free bagel I’ve had and the jalapeño crème cheese was sublime. Coffee nothing special but cakes are great.

Disappointed shipping customer in Boston. For the first time 4/5 of my half-dozen sesame bagel order developed moldy spots within the first 24 hours. I know the products need freezing quickly, but it seems like they may have been shipped moist/old to begin with. Twice, I asked for a replacement order or a refund, but was told no both time, tough luck. Won't be ordering again. Too expensive to risk it.
