Some dishes truly impressed - like the oxtail spring roll and the yellowtail, and others flopped like the cauliflower (which the server failed to tell us was battered and fried when we asked about it) and the scallops. The corn dumplings were solid but could have been more flavorful. The cocktail I ordered was so sweet that I sent it back.

Incredible East Village gem. With a party of 6 we tried almost every dish on the menu and each was better than the next. I went back a couple of times since and had the same great experience.

We really enjoyed our dinner here! The gumbo and dumplings were highlights but all other items were great too, and the service was excellent!

We tried one of every dish on the menu. Our favorites were the corn dumplings, spring rolls, noodles, and yellowtail crudo. If you go with more than 4 people, you should get 2 orders of some of the dishes. The only dish we weren’t a fan of was the ragu with rice cakes. My friend thought the sauce was oddly sour.

i’ve been to their sister restaurant and always wanted to try this place! was able to snag a dinner reservation and came here on a thursday night :). ordered their popular drinks - adult caprisuns, i rarely drink and the alcohol in it was really strong :(. wish i could have asked for more juice or adjusted the amount of alcohol in it. we ordered a bunch of their tapas - wagyu eggrolls, ribs, lobster, tuna tartare, etc. our fav was definitely the ribs and lobster rolls! def would come back here for the yummy ribs 😋

I really didn’t want to give 5 stars, but 4 isn’t enough either. It’s not perfect, but it’s good enough that when I’m in town, I go. Here’s my rundown.
Absolutely get: crudo, cauliflower, corn dumplings, noodles, ribs, scallop.
Don’t really recommend:
Crab fried rice. The rice is amazing. The crab? Not.
Ragout. The ragout was amazing but did not work with this menu. It was super weird.
Oxtail spring rolls. We get these every time and remember we shouldn’t.
Tartare. Meh. So many place do amazing tartare. Skip it here.
Other than the food? Great service.
Really loud. Don’t love that.

Came in a group of 3 on a Sunday night which was perfect as there was no wait time. We ordered a total of 8 dishes which were shared and came out to $80 pp with tip included. This place is tapas style so each dish is meant to be shared. In my opinion there were some dishes like the Berkshire ribs and oxtail spring rolls that felt a bit underwhelming (they weren’t bad they were just ok).The rest of the dishes were yummy and the winner of the night was the lobster roll (we ordered it twice!). Overall it’s a good spot to try and have a bite. My rank goes: rice dish (had a tiny kick to it ) > lobster roll > dumpling > scallop > ribs > spring rolls

Incredible options for food

Good vibes and our service was actually pretty good. But the food is just ok. Some items sound creative on paper, but don’t really hit the mark. Corn dumplings would be better with less truffle oil, Noodles were not very interesting, the Asparagus ceviche shouldn’t be on even a vegan menu, but the Oxtail spring roll was pretty tasty.
Excellent in every way possible! The food is prepared so well, the variety of flavors, textures and ingredients is amazing! The waiters are so kind and helpful.
Honestly one of the best restaurants in which I've ever eaten. Great staff, cool environment, but the food was stellar. Green beans. Ribs. Corn dumplings. Lobster fried rice. Seriously delicious. NYC is sleeping on this place. It should be a destination restaurant.
One of the best dining experiences we had, this place deserves a Michelin star. The food is worth every cent you spend and the ambiance is intimate and pleasant. The most amazing plates were the corn dumplings, oxtail spring rolls, and asparagus ceviche, these are a must eat. Other plates we tried were lobster roll, cashew oil noodles and the ragu which were also incredible tastes.
Food lacked substance and umami.
