I recently visited this spot hoping for a quiet evening with a glass of whiskey, sitting by the window and watching the city life go by. The place itself is charming and has a cozy atmosphere, which initially got my hopes up. However, I quickly ran into a few frustrating issues. For one, I found out that you can only sit by the window if you’re in a party of two or more—even though the place was nearly empty at the time. It felt unnecessarily restrictive and was a bit of a letdown, especially since I had pictured enjoying a solo drink with a view.

Adding to the disappointment, the whiskey selection was extremely limited. For an Irish pub, I was expecting a wide variety of options, but instead, the choices were minimal and unremarkable. It really felt like the emphasis was on the location rather than the quality of the drinks or service.

Overall, while the space itself has potential and the city view is lovely, the restrictive seating rules and underwhelming drink offerings made the experience frustrating. It seems like they rely more on being in a prime location than providing a true Irish pub experience. With better service, a thoughtful whiskey selection, and more flexibility in seating, this could be a really enjoyable spot—but unfortunately, it fell short of expectations on my visit.

We always eat here before a knick game. Service by Allen was the best. Such nice man. Turkey club as one reviewer said, was delicious. However there aren't many choices for vegetarians. Hubby said veggie burger was too salty. But the fries were great. Thank you, Allen.

The worst restaurant experience in NYC and that tells you allot. Owner is nasty and rude. I walked in and the bar Tender told me to take a seat at a table and he pointed it. I sat down and then I was accosted by the owner. She told me to move I couldn't sit where I was told to. When i said the bartender pointed for me to sit here. She told me shes the boss and they listen to her and told me to get up. She pointed at a table in the back and I left. People, dont let these owners treat you like you don't matter. Show up and spend more somewhere else. Awful lady.

Wasn't at the bar Molly. Keep being the bad owner you are. You will loose your clientele.

What a nice place! The food is great. I had the Reuben and my friend had the bacon cheeseburger. Both were large and delicious. The corned beef was tender, no gristle. The fries are large and chunky and yummy. I will definitely return! It is a comfortable size inside. Sports tv's at the bar. I would feel very safe going there by myself. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff.

The food and service at Molly Wee were great. I had the Turkey Club for lunch - made fresh and was really good. Great vibe, particularly if you’re a rangers or Knick’s fan. I recommend and will return.

Zero service here, unless you’re a regular I assume. They don’t seem to want new customers here, at least not on a Tuesday afternoon. Left and went to a different pub on the same block and had a great experience. Spend your money and time wisely!

Noisy, crowded, expensive drinks, food served cold. Sent back food and they served same food now overcooked from reheating. Average wait staff. Would not return.

The place is nice and I wanted to drink some whiskey and sit by the window and watch the city life. Well you can only sit at the window of you are 2 or more people even if the place is dead and they have basically no whiskey selection even though they are a Irish pub. My guess is they make their money from the location not offering good service.
