The view was dope! The food was okay. I had sliders and fries. Sliders could have been seasoned better. Fries were pretty decent, but the bartender on the rooftop (I forgot her name) she was great! Drinks were nice and strong… just the way I like it. I would definitely go back and try something else.

We had my husband 40th birthday at rooftop but service was really bad. Cake was sitting outside in 80 degrees because monarch didn’t had place to keep cake inside. Monarch gave us very small area for 35 people and charged lot of money. Food and Drinks were disgusting. 10 people had nausea, vomiting and diarrhea after party. Very small place, not clean and poor service. I would not recommend this place for any kind of event. Please do not book this place for your events you will be disappointed.

Monarch Rooftop was the perfect place to host a 20-people happy hour! If you reserve the bar area, there’s no minimum for the group and everyone can pay with separate tabs. We had enough space to move around at the bar, and there are a few bar stools available (although no couches if you only reserve the bar area). It’s a beautiful space and easy to reach. Would recommend!!

Interesting place. I love the atmosphere and the theme. Vanessaa the bartender is a grwat service person and nice. The manager they have a bad energy.
the place has had many a facelift, managers as expected have come and go, adam was great... security at most of these places is hit or miss, communication skills not a strength.... the days of danny and the best security guy in NY , Mike have moved on....he runs the show at the new virgin hotel rooftop lounge, the servers are all different , the GM RJ regular good guy ... so many opening up and choices when it comes to rooftop lounges, dont be in a rush to get here but worth a visit
