Go here! All around awesome restaurant, with great food and awesome service. The beef shank is worth the hype, super delicious and a large portion, even good as leftovers.Beef tartare was good, I don’t remember the name of our other apps, but everything tasted great. Drinks were also refreshing and delicious.Check this place out, definitely a must try place in the city.

A solid modern Việt restaurant with a few standouts. Service was enthusiastic and helpful. The Shank is the #1 thing to get here but be warned: It’s giant and 3-4 people could share it.

Definitely make a reservation— this place is currently hot! We got the crab rice: delicious and just the right amount of mild heat and crunch. The platter was great as well: four types of protein plus veggies and noodles to make our own rolls at the table, which was a fun experience. Don’t sleep on the flan dessert either: very tasty.

Super eclectic in its decor with a splash of some hypebeast decor. I love the interior design. Very chic.Decided to try Monsieur Vo last night and it didn’t disappoint. A lot of traditional Vietnamese flavors with a modern twist. We did not have a reservation prior but called 30 minutes before arriving. Was it fate? I think it was.We arrived as planned but it was a busy Thursday night. We were seated at the bar as we waited for our table which didn’t take too long for it to be prepared and got to try their cocktails during our wait. Was just a tad bit sweet for my taste but my fiancé enjoyed hers then she decided on wine for dinner, which is a plus cause she loves her wine. Now, on to our appetizer and entree. We decided to try the:1. Bahn Khot - was a nice stater, was not over filling but flavors worked well! We enjoyed it.2. Com Chief Cua - we liked it but felt there was not much crab in our dish as hoped for but the flavor was great! I would recommend.3. Beef Shank - we were not ready the amount of beef headed our way, but it was GREAT! It was super tender, flavorful and juicy! A lot for 2 people but we did it anyways and glad we had enough to take some home.So I was told the restaurant is the “husband” restaurant of Madame Vo, which makes sense now. Both restaurants were great, depending on what are looking for. From what I remember of Madame Vo, its menu focused on more of a traditional/classic take on dishes vs Monsieur Vo having a twist using Vietnamese flavors to enhance dishes, but not necessarily a fusion of different cuisines. We said we would go back another time and would try the dishes we didn’t get to order but we recommend it.Love that the Vietnamese food scene is becoming more visible in NYC!

Excellent all around!!! The Beef Shank (serves 4) is tasty and is a fit for every 'Modern Stone-Age Family'? . The cocktails are perfectly balanced, the Fried Okra is spicy and delicious, as well as, the Bone Marrow appetizer. Will be coming back and spreading the word!!!

Decided to check out this restaurant on the lower east side with my team after seeing a post on Instagram so we decided to give it a try. We had the Bone Marrow, Okra, and Beef Shank - it was all absolutely flavorful, delicious, tender and savory. I highly recommend going with a group of 3 or 4 as the portions are generous. Cocktails were also great. If you love Asian cuisine, specifically Vietnamese, I highly recommend this place if you want something a bit more elevated than the usual Chinatown places.

I went to Monsieur Vo in summer 2023 and it was an amazing experience. Loved the environment, the drinks, and especially the food.I had the cocktail TIME AFTER TIME which was really well made. Then, for appetizer we had the ROASTED BONE MARROW, this was the best dish I had. The melting bone marrow with butter and tamarind glaze was delicious. Then we had the PHO GA KHO (noodles with chicken and the COM CHIEN CUA (rice with crab). The rice was definitely my favorite, the crab was fresh and the combination with the egg was perfect.I would totally go back, definitely would recommend.SPANISH:I went to Monsieru Vo in summer 2023 and it was an amazing experience. We went to this restaurant last night and had a reservation for another night mistakenly. The host was able to accommodate us after just waiting for a few minutes. The staff was very friendly. We went to try the highly recommended bone marrow. We were told there was only one left, but that one had our names on it. We ordered apps and drinks so that came out first. To our surprise The waiter came out and told us that it was somehow a mix up in the kitchen and they didn’t have any more bone marrow. We were crushed ?. The staff was very apologetic. They offered to take care of us in other ways for the inconvenience. We were appreciative. All of the food we had there was so good. So now we definitely have to go back for the bone marrow! The drinks were great as well. We would highly recommend. Their professionalism and willingness to make up for their mistakes are held in high regards. We will definitely be returning.

Overall 4.5/5 They def exceeded my expectations b/c I'm not like a crazy fan of madam vo. But everything we got here was very goodBone marrow app 4.5/5: not a lot but very tasty and goes very well with the baguette Monsieur platter 5/5: love love this even though I couldn't wrap properly until my 3rd try! It's a fun exp to wrap your own summer roll!Tamarind fried rice 4.5/5: this was very flavorful - slightly on the sweeter end but overall very delish Flan dessert 4/5: my friend really liked this but I thought it was slightly too sweet for me Would def come back to try others since they do have a seasonal menu!

The food is good . Love the soup ( just hope it serves hot not room temp) Bone marrow is on point. The table is a bit too small . The seat is okay .Staff is very nice. Great for groups not really for couple or kids .

Was really disappointed with the young lady helping us out when we arrived. We had a later reservation but got there early. There were plenty of tables available but she wouldn’t seat unless we could eat in less than an hour. So much for customer service. We were looking forward to eating there. We love Vietnamese cuisine.

Very good, they have unique dishes, all of which are very tasty. A very trendy place with fast service. We shared a bunch of food, which was yummy, but more fusion Vietnamese than authentic. A bit pricey for some of the portion sizes.
